HOA meetings add a whole new level of entertainment to the whole home ownership experience. I thought I was going to sit back and watch a bench clearing brawl last night. This one guy was about as subtle as a sledge hammer to the face, demanding so many rules be changes for no reason other than he doesn't like them. He got more and more angry each time he was told that's not how things work, refusing to take anyone's word but his own. I would probably wind up being the one who gets punched in the face since I was openly laughing at the guy.

We shouldn't try and generalize this down to a case of criticizing an athlete. In this specific case, a teenager is being mocked for something very common among teens. Sure, people are free to say whatever they want and most of the time this stuff borders on pathetic, something completely unrelated to the that player's profession. The age factor here just adds an additional layer of sleaze to the whole thing.

This one looks to be a great example of why people need to be a little more descriptive when they label these situations as opposed to just saying victimized. Maybe I'm off on this one, but I get a completely different read from what Marions posted to where this isn't a bullying situation. If I'm wrong, good, because my read is something far worse. Broad terms used to cover just about all bases (and your own ass, at least when it comes to news reports) lead to more confusion.

Shouldn't their rebuild be ahead of ours seeing as how it started some amount of years earlier? This would be, what, their 4th or 5th attempt at it while we're currently on our 2nd/3rd?

I don’t mind the thought of moving him one bit. I don’t think the numbers so far this year will adversely effect any deal. If anything, the incredibly limited usage should actually have him in better shape for a new team thanks to less wear and tear.

I’ll admit to not watching, but I have a hard time pinning much blame on a featured back who up until this week was averaging 7 carries a game. It seems like the “trash” label needs to be focused somewhere else.

With that belief, they then took the risk of waiting until their second pick in the 5th round to draft him. It sounds like some fun time travel hijinks are in motion. Clearly at some point McDermott will sent Peterman back in time to do the nasty with Mrs. McDermott, allowing Sean to be conceived.

The EJ mention is the one that scares me simply because they both wound up starting way too early. Tyrod was pretty much what he was by the time he got here and won the job. Both EJ and Allen were thrown to the wolves way too soon. Hopefully this one doesn't have the same ending.

It's probably the worst possible time in the season to do it too. You're trying to hook your audience at this point. That's pretty tough to do when the team is already questionable, but then you add in a game that many won't be able to watch.

I don't think it's interesting at all. Tennyson is only here because any other option is someone who needs to be playing as opposed to sitting in the press box. If there's a single injury, he will be bypassed by the player that is recalled.

I haven't watched these clips at all, so I'm not going to weigh in on the specifics here. All too often though, people think of responsibility always as a simple yes/no, one party is completely responsible and the other is not. That's just not how things work. It lies on a continuous scale. Yes, there can be cases where it does all fall on one person, but the vast majority of the time there's some sort of split. Does taunting someone make a punch to the face required? Of course not, but you should probably be aware of the possibility. Now this is where PC principal chimes in with the victim blaming comment, because we like to take very generic statements and re-frame them as something far more specific than they ever were. People do need to be aware of the fact that their actions can lead to unfortunate results. All I know is that if you asked both parties today about this fight, I'm guessing Eller's not all that angry about it.
