The more I hear these stories of the Browns being interested in each QB, the more I feel like they're going to wait until 4 to take their QB. What other reason could there possibly be for them leaking out these various stories? Whether they're trying to build up a trade market for #1 or they want to take Barkley, either way, it screams QB at 4. The beautiful thing is that since it is the Browns, you can throw out just about any stupid scenario and there's a good chance they would actually do it.

Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O... I never would have guessed you're a 70 year old.

Incoming mind-warp! Brad's goal was 25 years ago today. MAY DAY!

I'd try to guess, but I think about 50 different places have come and gone in that area since then. 30 or so have come and gone since my days. edit: And am I the only one who, with the way things have gone lately, feels like this happened much longer than 25 years ago? -
Former Bills longsnapper?

But what if we've is allergic? I will hold you personally accountable for the results.

Is there a reason why we continue to throw rocks at this hornet nest rather than just move on already?

I never played anything but the original, but for some reason the ads have made me curious about that game. I barely ever buy games anymore and right now, the only future game I can say I'll buy is Red Dead Redemption 2.

I really need to find an independent tailor around here. I have an old suit that needs some work, but I no one I know has told me of any good places yet. We used to go to this guy in Hamburg who was really good. Maybe he can hop on a plane.

I pretty much have no mechanical skills whatsoever. I'm oddly pleased with myself for figuring out how to change out the drive line for the self-propel on my lawn mower this weekend without any guidance. I usually can't do anything that calls for something beyond brute force. What is also awesome is that on friday I had a big surface of patio pavers installed right next to the new screen porch and I finally got the grill back outside. It's not so awesome though that the worker hit said brand new screen porch with something, punched a hole through the screen and gouged the wood frame. They're paying to fix it, so basically it just winds up being a short term annoyance.

There's always something when it comes to realtors writing up the description. Earlier it was excessive exclamation points. Now we have yours who refuses to use capitalization.

It sure is fun when you probably are going to have to spend car-type money with the very real possibility of not getting a thing in return.

I guess that is the case. It looks like I remembered the move from that one year and then never even noticed when they moved it back to the original time frame. Either way, with all the extra coverage thrown towards it today, it feels like we've been talking about this draft since Reagan was in office.
-
Does it really count as over-thinking when the draft is held 20 months after the super bowl? We're probably fortunate that there hasn't been a major off the field media circus for them to focus on like in recent years (Brady appeal, Rice-like domestic abuse cases, etc...). Because of that though, they've had pretty much nothing but the draft to cover. I really wish they'd move it back to the earlier date where they used to hold it, but that move was all about gaining more media coverage and will never change.

The house behind mine is currently for sale. Some of the stuff in the description is absolutely hilarious. They call it "sun-drenched", which in other words means there is only one tree on the lot. It's only 2 years old, so that really isn't a huge issue. Anyway, they also end every single sentence in the description with 2 exclamation points ("sun-drenched!!"). All I can think when reading it is Elaine Benes and her hatred of the exclamation point.

4 different broadcasts for an event where absolutely nothing happens for right around 99% of the time it airs. Amazing.

I'd say it's a safe bet that the league now tries to persuade the teams not to announce anything until the day of the draft so that they can boost ratings.

My mom took me there for everything from day 1 through to my high school days. So we're pushing 20 years, but I bet they're still around. I feel like I'm remembering either a a remodeled or new location in the late 90s.

People can be real a-holes. My office building overlooks a public baseball diamond. A couple weeks ago, someone went out there, I'm assuming in a car, and tore up the entire outfield. "Tore up" is probably downplaying it, they got damn near all of it. I've been wondering what they would do about it. Today there's some type of plow out there tearing out the very little remaining grass and re-leveling the field. I kind of want to sit by that window and watch the whole process. We are high enough up that I can't tell if it originally was a car or some sort of ATV. I'm also not completely sure what they're using today to work on in.

Your numbers are fine. 11's link shows the probability as of today. It accounts for all possible combinations. What you've just typed up shows the probability assuming that the draw for the first pick has already happened. Think of it this way. If you flip two coins, the probability of getting two heads is 1/4. Now if you've flipped the first coin and it landed heads, what is the probability of getting that second head? 1/2.
-
And if you want to get technical on the EJ pick, that wasn't their first pick either. They traded down.
-
What you're picturing here is the probability of specifically winning the lottery for the 2nd overall pick assuming you've already lost the 1st pick. In that case, it would be greater than the chance they had for the first pick. But if you look at the chances overall for which pick you wind up with, those numbers were right. Notice how they add up to 100%.

Taylor was an asset that only certain teams would be interested in. They turned him into a draft pick that more teams would be interested in. You open up new trade avenues that didn't previously exist. Personally, I'm like you and wish they'd have the solution in house before making the move, but that's not a luxury you always have.

Misplaced comma. I'd imagine the quote is trying to claim that O'Brien plays for both Amonte and Orpik. Edit: Looked it up, that exactly what it is.

Right as I get the screen porch completed, the weather warms up. Perfect.

I've never seen anything come in from a different country. I mean, I assume most come from a different country, but they always wind up being displayed as a "local" number.
