  1. Past hour
  2. When all you post is extremist twitter propaganda that is mostly fake news it's not worth anyones time. You are brain damaged and it didn't take long for you to show it. It's why the normal people left this club and you are left with your low IQ twitter posts that you are brainwashed with. Sometimes you just have to leave the idiots to their twitter obsession and just laugh at them from a distance. Who knows you might end up killing a bunch of Mormons or rape a child and I don't want to talk to people that are unhinged and might do that.
  3. So Levi is in Rochester, UPL is injured again, They picked up a journeyman (actually 2 of them). Not that I was expecting to know more..but one week until the regular season starts, and I feel we know NOTHING more about the goaltending prospects for the season than we did over the last few months. You could not write a script of a situation that gives you less insight into their goaltending at the end of camp. Barring major injuries, I am thinking goaltending (not defensive play or scoring) will determine the fate of this team. I feel I KNOW the defensmen are still flawed but should be slightly better than last year. I feel they will be at least a top-half of the league scoring forward group. Goaltending I can't even guess. Its a total mystery to me.
  4. Today
  5. Interesting graphic and I get it might be done with some statistical formula: -I agree Detroit isn't a team that has a bit time window opening. They seem to be more in 'no mans land', maybe SLIGHTLY toward the 'window opening'. -Put aside all the negativity, I think the Sabres should be slightly more toward the 'window opening' area. -I know Kopitar is retiring, but I don't think the Kings should be basically in the worst area of the chart. -Toronto might be entering the 'window closing' phase soon, but I think their position on this chart should be slightly farther back. -Edmonton should be slightly farther forward to the 'win now' area. I think Edm and Toronto should be in the exact same spot. -I'm not sure how Ottawa and Boston are almost in the same area.
  6. Sabres play today. yay.
  7. Bump. It’s Friday 🎉🎉
  8. Not sure why I got eye rolled emojid (how will I survive) All I passed on was a scout, who probably wasn’t a goalie scout for the team that drafted Levi, told me not to get too excited about him. Mentioned his lack of size as a starting point, and had other comments to go along with it. This was after I had mentioned my excitement of him signing. As for him moving on to another organization? I didn’t do a deep dive on why he moved on or whose choice it was. All I know is he’s a scout who lives in my ‘hood in off season, is good enough to be employed as a NHL SCOUT, and he told me don’t get your hopes up on Levi. So far, said scout, is accurate on his point.
  9. This just isn't true. He wasn't clearing people out and engaging physically in college either. It's exactly how he graded and was identified as his weaknesses. He's bigger than most NHL forwards and he still has to get better defensively with positioning and using his reach, he doesn't have to get physical with a 5'10, 185 player. No, he's not clearing out a strong NHL player with size that's willing to go in front of the net. He may never be even average at that. Who cares? You're incorrectly hoping for that because he's big and you dislike almost everything about the Sabres. It's absurd to be this upset about a 22 year old player that isn't a flop.
  10. Ya, there's a lesson in how real teams go about settling scores. That was fun to watch.
  11. Those usually end up the best drafts because you just let it rip and not over think your selections. lol
  12. I don’t think age should be used as an excuse to get fat. Granted senior enlisted and officers aren’t exactly the ones going into firefights or four hour patrols or conducting middle of the night raids and ambushes. They are there for their knowledge and experience. Still not an excuse to let yourself go. Nor is the POTUS’ weight an excuse. As far as using U.S. cities as training grounds, it happens. Can’t execute every training objective on bases and ranges.
  13. Agree about Reinhart, who would have signed an extension had he been offered one instead of the bridge deal Botterill gave him. But Eichel was extended for 8x80 and they had a deal in place for Ullmark.
  14. Fair contract, right? Seems solid all around. How would you compare to Power’s? IMO decent value on both for future. Seems like a more traditional hitting and blocking dman but not necessarily more effect than OP.
  15. Tampa and Florida really beating on each other. Somehow Tampa has 5 players in the box at once.
  16. It’s not turning Power into Popeye, it about Power willingness to do his job properly. He isn’t good enough offensively to rely on offense alone like Karlsson. He needs to become a 2 way defenseman or he’ll remain a drag on this team.
  17. The grammar police will be in full force on this 1.
  18. Bigger and better than the other players.
  19. Oh great, robo texts are now smart enough to follow up with a “hey, did you get my text” a few hours later.
  20. You're never going to make Whimpy into Popeye. But you can teach a guy how to at least not embarrass himself and eventually even become passable at that skill.
  21. Yes certainly, but also he has to have a willingness to engage physically. I don't mean running around and hitting people just to hit them (Clifton). I mean challenging a forward at the blueline, clearing the crease, using his big frame to take away time and space from opponents. So far in his career he is unwilling to engage physically. No amount of coaching will fix a player unwilling to do what is necessary to get better on the ice.
  22. Even as cynical as I've become about this team, even I am having trouble believing how physically fragile this roster is. However, watching the last 2 periods against Pittsburgh really illustrated what I wrote in the 2 above quotes.
  23. So, giving him a real coach here, rather than a Wilford, would've been a good thing.
  24. For Adams, it's the only plan. Hope me Hopey-Hope, you're my only hope. I think at this point (except Samuelsson) it's all minor tweaks and "no reason for preseason" stuff. If it were in the regular season, they'd likely all play unless by resting a game they could get a 4-day break to really heal up. If it were post-season... ha. You're right. That's silly fancies.
