  1. Past hour
  2. He needs a bubble and padded walls. in the same room.
  3. I’m looking forward to it. This is a good test of the team’s willingness to grind out a road win. I saw that Ellis is projected to start tonight. I think Lyon should get another game. The top 6 is marginal already with McLeod and Quinn having to move up. Any timeline on Benson being ready?
  4. Hard day at the office as the clan emulate the sabres most recent score with a 0-4 match on Friday night against visitors Manchester Storm. Only nice thing from the game was Clan player Rob Lachowicz marking his 1000 eihl match.
  5. I can’t see any team trading a top 6 wing for Norris. The entire league can sees the injuries and his salary. Unless they are trading equally bad salaries then maybe.
  6. Forget watching on FUBO, Sabres games should be broadcast on FUBAR.
  7. I have a very weird mental state when it comes to the Sabres. I’m essentially trapped in 05-06 when we should’ve won the Stanley Cup. When all the stars aligned and it looked like it was absolutely going to happen. So I don’t even know if the darkness of this stretch has really even hit me the way it has some other people. I just live in a state where the Sabres are still that team and are still a relevant franchise. I guess it’s some sort of mental gymnastics to protect me. But your post puts it into a pretty clear light. I think I’ll probably still stay in 2006 though, before Jay McKee woke up on the morning of game seven with a staph infection on his ankle. I still refuse to accept we didn’t win the cup. And I’ll stay here as long as it takes until this franchise sorts out the present.
  8. I'm really glad that that HBP call wasn't the deciding inning. Fun baseball, though.
  9. Don’t worry, Kevyn is going to trade for a top 6 winger last summer.
  10. Today
  11. That new roof is the roof of a successful franchise
  12. Other teams add to their top 6. Imagine if we had added 1 top 6 piece, just 1.
  13. How do other teams prepare better for injuries? Serious question. I've heard that we're awful at it and we suck when a key player(s) goes down. So obviously there's proof. I just always thought the roster was so thin, every injury was exacerbated. Is it that teams have a much better 13th or 14th forward on the roster, more/better vets in the AHL that can come right up, they'll sign a FA immediately?
  14. There's as many as 7 defenders that could go top 16 in this draft
  15. Gavin McKenna 1g 4a in 4games (NCAA) Ethan Belchetz 6g, 9pts, 9games (OHL) Ryan Roobroeck 3g, 6pts, 8games (OHL) Mathis Preston 5g, 9pts, 6games (WHL) Nikita Klepov 7g, 13pts, 7games (OHL)
  16. If Power plays, that instantly makes the D pairings far better. Ik a lot are down on him but he's still a + player offensively and basically neutral defensively. I might give him Johnson instead of Timmins because Johnson can stay at home better than Timmins. The forwards are rough. They really needed to add another piece but once again, Adams isn't good at his job and is terrible at imagining there could be an injury. That Doan line probably works if you substitute Helenius from 2027 into it, but alas. Go Sabres. Must win.
  17. Not going to lie, I look really good in Florida Panthers gear.
  18. How many shutout losses in a row does this team need to rack up before the coach/gm are fired?
  19. Let’s go, boys. Play with some passion. Sabrehood is counting on you.
  20. Bruins don’t look very good on paper anymore
  21. The Sabres were shut out at home by the New York Rangers 4-0 on Thursday. Buffalo is without forwards Zach Benson and Josh Norris due to injury. The Bruins are 2-0-0 after a 4-3 win in overtime over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday at TD Garden. Boston has scored a power play goal in both games this season. Buffalo Sabres Projected Lines Zucker-Kulich-Thompson Quinn-McLeod-Tuch Doan-Krebs-Danforth Malenstyn-Kozak-Geertsen Byram-Dahlin Power-Timmins Samuelsson-Johnson Boston Bruins Projected Lines Geekie-E. Lindholm-Pastrnak Zacha-Mittelstadt-Arvidsson Jeannot-Minten-Eyssimont Khusnutdinov-Kuraly-Kastelic Lohrei-McAvoy Zadorov-Peeke Harris-Jokiharju Players To Watch: Buffalo Sabres Alex Tuch led the Sabres with six shots on goal in the loss to New York. Jason Zuckerand Tage Thompson each had five. Boston Bruins Tanner Jeannot scored his first goal as a Bruin on Thursday. Elias Lindholm has scored in each of the first two games for Boston.
