Yahoo gave me a āDā. I didnāt like how the draft flowed for me but I think my team is better than that.
-
So why did you change QB INTs to (-3)?
-
My report card gave me a C... Lol. Sounds about right. I don't do much (if any) research, just kinda pick on gut feel.

What you donāt seem to be understanding is that the issue was put to rest upon the conviction of Maxwell and the death of Epstein. Why would it occur to Biden/Harris to revisit the case when it was done and dusted several years before Trump and his constituents resurrected it? Why would Biden/Harris assume that justice wasnāt served in 2021 and there was a need to re-open the case? Makes no sense.

Update: In Toronto tonight GM opened and TTB closed. This could change each night. Warren came out at the end of the TTB set and they played Stand Back and ended with A Little Help from my Friends (Joe Cocker arrangement, which they just kill).

Either Nov date would probably work if thereās enough room.

Ugh, work emergency literally as Iām logging in. Sorry all. Will still scratch and claw in free agency to make the playoffs. Open to trade offers.
-
Maybe a better thread would honestly be whether this is closer to the bottom 10 moments, or the top 10 moments. There does seem to be a lot of active and manual polarization.
-
My apologies. It could have been done better.

Biden/Harris are in the same group of rich disgusting people who wouldn't release it b.c it would hurt democratic money supporters also. This ***** is on both sides of the isle and easily world wide with powerful people that have lots of money. Trump himself used to be a democrat and even donated money to the Harris campaign (California AG)back in 2011. These people are all connected at one point in time.

I lie to myself all the time itās specifically human not saying you are but itās certainly not a wild hypothetical. In the absence of a stance that seems inherently logical Iām going to question it. šš»āāļø I think thatās fair, in an open forum where Iām also questioning the salience of my own position - - - Itās also the only relevant thread in a month Iām not afraid to step on a few toes in the name of a more lively discussion

Iām not sure how one can be intellectually dishonest answering what seems to me a purely emotional question. š¤·

Seems to come down a lot to how itās being defined. āWhat was the point at which you felt they were least likely to succeed in the coming season?ā seems to be an interpretation of choice Thatās the high minded, desirable approach I thinkā¦itās aspirational. āPast is the pastā. Itās rather salient - - - I wish I came down there. To me, itās not about the likelihood of success in the immediate season, now, straight up - itās about the fact Iām truly scared im not going to care about it when it does happen Thatās why itās the low point: the fear of the apathy they have and may have caused. I expect losing. I fear winning

Yeah I started following the sabres with the Goathead, so 15 automatic wins, not bad š

I'd say the 2018 off season when O'Reilly said the team I love destroyed his love for Hockey. I remember it just being awful to hear that. The trading Eichel off season. The historic losing streak 20-21. Losing streak last year sucked. Not improving on the '23 91 pts. Definitely not now. I don't think we suck.

You didnāt ask me, but I can think of 2 comments on this: So in general your outlook on the team has improved since Adams instituted his rebuild plan - you feel better after 5 FURTHER years of unequivocal failure - somehow the same ownership thatās still in place now seems *more* likely to succeed after stacking 5 years of failure on top of 9 - these 5 years have allowed them to gain ground for you. As for the latter, to each their own but finding out my team could be bad once definitely didnāt feel bad as actually being bad for 2 decades as I said, to each their own - - - Bear with me here but I honestly struggle to classify this as intellectual honesty. 5 years ago you feared the Pegula Sabres would be hard pressed to make the playoffs, and now after that being proven true, and no end to the regime in sight, no indication theyāve changed their modus operandi that got them to your ālowest pointā, now 5 years on you feel better about it? Theyāve only doubled down on every mistake since and continue to do so⦠no team ever actually is or needs to be ā5 years awayā from the playoffs - the only reason that ever is the case is because of poor aptitude and choices - the fact we are suffering from both has only been proven *demonstrably more true* over the course of the last 5 years. We were one year away in 2021. We chose to be more than that, and those who made the choice are still here

Practice squad guy who knows the team and What Josh wants. Good to have just in case of injury.

Trump has shown he is a predator and maybe even deeper than people realized. You don't fight something so hard that you actually used as part of your campaign and hired people who gained their popularity and money off of videos and streams about the Epstein files for the votes. He thought he could sweep this under the rug but too many problems have snapped some of these people out of their brainwashing. He also has the deep conspiracy crew who wanted answers and now see him as a main threat to those answers.

And back to Gabe Davis. Was thinking the reason we hadn't heard of any cuts to add him was because Carter had been put on IR and somebody elevated. Well, Carter is on the injury report, so for some reason he hasn't been IR'd yet. And apparently, per Sal, nobody needs to come off of the PS to make room for Gabe due to his status.
