14 saves vs 5 goals isn't good enough.

At what point do the skaters get blame? How many mistakes does a goalie have to bail out? 10? 20? 30?

None of the goals Ellis gave up I blame him for.

It’s not Ruff, it’s icing a s#itty team for the last 14 years.

This is a seriously flawed roster, but there's talent. Do you think the Flyers have a roster that much better than ours? They don't. They hired a good coach and he's maximizing the talent they do have.

Lindy was a good coach 15-20 years ago. Since leaving the Sabres in 2013 he's a roughly 84 point/season coach who has made the playoffs 3 times in 12 (will be 13) seasons. He is objectively not a good coach. Only Kevyn Adams thought hiring him was a good idea and that's only because it was easy and he had some moronic notion that nostalgia would equal wins

This team needs help roster-wise, sure; but more than that it needs an actual NHL coaching staff.

And an actual NHL GM.

And an owner that gives a frick about winning.

Who’s our locker room leader talking to the team between periods?

Anybody?

They’re going to sit in silence for 18 minutes. Half the team doesn’t care and the other half is exasperated.

That or Dahlin will snap and destroy the room. You can tell he’s over it.

Where the hell has Thompson and Tuch been lately? It boggles my mind how ***** and inconsistent they’ve been in an Olympic season when they are allegedly on the bubble. Tells me everything about who they are as players.

So glad he’s not going to be anywhere near team USA. He’s a joke.

That class he’s a part of that we drafted to be our young core stable all have the same air of entitlement and do not play the game of hockey the way it’s supposed to be played. They think just because they have gifted offensive ability that they can not play a complete game. That they don’t have to show up on a nightly basis and do the little things.

I like Tage but he’s a huge part of the problem with this team. He would have to put up 50 to 60 goals a year to make up for the fact that he does not play to a hockey and he does not do the little things consistently well or even well at all really.

Signing in quickly to say,

It irks me more that the Flyers have their number than any other team. Speed kills. And the Sabres have speed. But they don't embrace their speed to kill Philly like they did back in the Peca days vs. the big bad Bruins. Just depressing.

You’re being embarrassed on the first game of a road trip. Why aren’t you getting into a scrum after every whistle? Has this team watched a playoff team before?

Who is getting into a scrum? Nobody on this team can fight.

The guy that got kicked out.

I mean wasn't Dahlin touted as a finesse defenseman with offensive prowess?  If so, why the ***** does he have to be the guy getting ugly in the corners?  It really seems to me this organization has failed him and ruined a generational talent.  Kid's worked his ass off his entire life to be at the pinnacle of this sport and people like GMKA roll up with their online degrees and piss it all away.

also in the 2005 2006 season we completely embarrassed them and ended an era for them. They tried the same ***** back then but we had the perfect blend of speed and grit and heart and skill.

Well TNT just saw once again why this team doesn’t win.  They nailed it.
