Calgary, not exactly a bastion of success, is straight out beating Buffalo with Hustle and Skill. Calgary has it, Buffalo does not.

Look at the puck control, the puck battles, the use of size, puck control and straight out drive.

 

Spot on…..we got outworked from opening faceoff, playing a different kind of team tonight than Edmonton. Calgary is more lunch bucket than the Oilers. They’ve just been beating us by outworking us

For several years, at every chance to get to .500 (NHL), not even DeLuca, they just fritter it away for 2-3 games. Then, they'll attempt again, but just can't break through. Maybe they get a game over, and then just fall apart for a longer stretch.
