You're heading towards a top 10 and potentially top 5 pick, do you retool now to be ready to go next year? Hire a new GM and let him bring in a coaching staff before a complete explosion. If retooling I’d see what I can get for TT, OP, and BB. Build an identity. 1 Quote
PASabreFan Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I mean is it time to call Greg House? Bad batch of vaccines? Who all availed themselves? Just the players? Quote

This would be a fine time for the GM to go out and make a trade to try to save the season, but I also feel like GMKA is a dead man walking and he's not the guy I want making any moves. The season feels like it's over and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. I think it’s depends on where that clot is and how long the player expects to be on anticoagulation. If this is to his pulmonary tree or threatening his brain, he’ll be on anticoagulants for an awful long time. Someone playing a contact sport at the professional level shouldn’t be on anticoagulants. Kulich is at least the third NHL player this year and I know that “Wem” and a few lessor players were diagnosed in the NBA last year. When Chris Bosh first had to retire due to them it seemed like an anomaly, now it seems rather common. Zach wheeler in baseball too Quote
Rasmus_ Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago It's like we're the can that never stops being kicked. Even w/ out a #1 center, we've been somewhat competitive this season, and now this. This is beyond being cursed. 1 Quote

Yes, McCormick's career ended due to blood clots, which was a tough loss for the Sabres at the time because he was really just starting to find his game. The clot started in his calf and worked its way to his lung. I hope Kulich makes a full recovery and is able to successfully treat the condition. Edited 1 hour ago by SHAAAUGHT!!! Quote
