Do not experiement with him with anyone else. He's not playing well with anyone else but looks comfortable with Kesserling. Tage: Please, PLEASE stop experimenting with him on crazy lines. Play him with either Tuch or Benson at all times. Quinn: Press Box. He hurts the team too much. UPL: Done with him. Don't even count his play and goals allowed, at this point I don't the the rest of the team trusts him and likes playing in front of him. Doan: Hes on the PP, He just stands in front of the net. All the time.  Of course a LOT of others stuff can be done. But to me those moves alone get the team back on track. I promise you Of ALL of the above-mentioned Removing UPL is the MOST important! He's the proverbial sand in the Vaseline 86 his doomer a$$ and all else starts to happen Edited yesterday at 02:47 AM by clink 1 2 Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted yesterday at 02:47 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:47 AM It's really hard to like this team, you try and then you get games like this constantly against the worst team in hockey, UPL has no business in net even as a backup at this point he just seems to drag us down. 1 1 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM A boot still on Benson means he's probably at least a week away -- so unlikely for the entire road trip. He can re-energize the team. We've seen it already this season. But, it may be too late with everyone in the East scooping up every point available. Tonight: BOS/OTT - OT, MTL/NJ - OT, WSH/PIT - tied in the 3rd Quote

They could have canned Ruff when Montgomery was let go by Boston -- hey, you didn't want to be HC, how about stay on as advisor immediately. Then, give Montgomery full control over his staff and he and Ruff can combine forces to tell Adams what players can stay or go. Alas, too late. 1 Quote

Sabres had 18 scoring chances to 7 for St. Louis. Sabres had 8 high danger chances to only 4 for the Blues. Sabres almost tripled St. Louis expected goals. Positionally the Sabres played better. They just couldn't score, had a terrible turnover by Quinn, and bad goaltending. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted yesterday at 02:51 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:51 AM St Louis should've run UPL on their closing powerplay. Just have Parayko go stand in front of the net and fall into him a few times. Quote

The issue is the Pegula, Adams, Forton clan. Hands down. There was no other realistic hire that that group was going to make that's significantly better than Lindy. There just isn't. With Adams in House, Appert is the heir apparent and we'll beg for Lindy back. 1 1 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM The thing is I’m not in the least bit surprised. They essentially rolled back the same team except jettisoned one of their top 6 wingers and prospect in exchange for a defenseman and a 3rd line energy guy and actually thought this was a playoff team. 75- 80 points if we are lucky. 3 Quote

Thorny Posted yesterday at 02:53 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:53 AM UPL wasn’t outstanding but if he stood on his head we’d have lost 1-0 in the shootout. Gotta score 1 1 1 Quote
