Not for nothing…… hockey is entertainment.  Darcy Regier recognized that there are a couple of ways to ice an entertaining squad, and May, Ray, Barnaby, Bougner works if you ain’t got the horses to score more goals than the other guys.

Darcy inherited each of those players. He then sent 3 of them packing within 2 years of taking the job.

Not to defend the indefensible GMKA, but free agency is not a war room exercise. And the prospects practice ended at 10:30 so numbskull will have had plenty of time to walk back to his office to not make or receive calls, anyway, by the time free agency officially opens at noon.

I bet Buffalo pays the Lyon King more than that on an AAV basis to get him to come to Buffalo to be traded at the deadline for an AHL forward.
