GASabresIUFAN Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago That’s 4 RHD with 2 trades and 2 draft picks Mrtka and Bedkowski in the draft and Kesselring and Timmins in trade. Adams is just a giant moron. 2 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Do you know anything about these picks besides what side they shoot from? Quote
In The Buff Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago we go from only bringing in LHD's to only bringing in RHD's. That's progress isn't it? 1 Quote

LGR4GM Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Bedkowski is someone that doesn't matter until like 2030 if he ever does. At that point, if a 6'5" 225lb rhd with a preference for violence is an issue because we have 4rhd already... well who cares. Quote
K-9 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago This draft and the trades have Lindy all over it. I can just imagine how sickened he was watching the video from last season. 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Don’t forget Kieber, taken in 2024 draft as well. Quote

Botterill crazy enough was worse than Adams, yet got another job? Murray i think was okay (though his drafting wasn't good), he just rushed the process too quickly. choosing Botterill over Zito set this team back a decade plus Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago They have addressed an organizational deficiency that has haunted them for probably a decade. This addresses a huge need and a step in the right direction. You now have starters plus potential depth with a good mix of styles. Outside of the weak return on JJ, it seems to me some big boys have stepped in and are directing KA to build a proper foundation to our hockey program. We had to get tougher to play against, which has been the number one problem for nearly two decades. 1 Quote

Kesselring and Doan may help, but I’m not sure I’m seeing enough otherwise to convince me the change is enough. I get that JJP didn’t bring any grit and that his absence makes it possible to add somebody still, but it hasn’t happened yet IMHO. When you are the softest team in the entire league, we need more toughness….a LOT more Edited 3 hours ago by Carmel Corn 1 Quote

Adding one thug who plays 9mins a night doesn’t help things as much as removing thirty minutes of peel away 1 Quote

Except he passed on some big (and mean) RHD at the top of the round to trade for cast off RHD and he shipped out our own tiny RHD and dumped the soft one last year so are we actually any better??? I hope he works out and develops into an NHL player but he's going to take years to get there. I don't like this trade. I think Kettles will be better than Timmins (for example). Quote

I have no issues with Bedkowski. It's not an either or I'd have been fine with both given where we picked. I don't like Timmins. Montreal made the big move in the second round. I'd bet Philly had their sights set on the Russian but Montreal jumped them and snagged him. Montreal has a Russian scout. That's probably a smart organizational move for them. I see him as the potential second round steal. Quote
