Pretty much better at everything except Kleber is nastier,

Mrtka is Uwe Krupp, Kleber is Jay Wells (minus the fighting because this isn’t that NHL)

He'll be a Sabre (unless he says he doesn't want to be here). The question is whether he is gone before he reaches his peak. (In addition to whether he ever really reaches full potential.)

I think Mrtka will be a good player, but for the record, they need centers in their pipeline -- real top-flight centers like they once had with Eichel. McQueen might never be healthy, but his ceiling is a 1C. He was the BPA for me.

And now, I hope Mrtka makes me eat it forever and wins multiple Cups in a Sabres sweater.
