Goldseatsaud Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 McDermott had Luke K and Thomas Davis in Carolina. Both were over 235lbs. I don’t know he wants smaller lbs now Quote

So, it's not like he won't try to use larger LBs if they have speed, he just seems to really want LBs that are fast. (Or Beane has a thing for fast LBs; but pretty sure he gets the ingredients the cook (coach) asks for.) Quote

Goldseatsaud Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Beane drafts these players probably with tons of input from McDermott. Milano was a safety I believe at BC before being drafted Quote

Tall guy playing middle he isn’t that good Your argument was that you don't beiieve McDermott necessarily favors small LBs. This kid adds the support to your argument that they brought in Edmonds as a 1st round pick. Edmonds is a monster by LB standards. Your reply, well, they got rid of him (because he wasn't good; which is why this kid called him the anti-Milano (Edmonds has world class size and speed but has the football instincts of Alan Alda; Milano is undersized as a LB but has incredible instincts.)). Soooo, what exactly is your point? Quote

I'm not quite that old but I crossed paths with Dan several times during his post-football days (when he was a lawyer in private practice). RIP. 2 Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 Flacco the geezer tore it up last night. Having two elite wr and persistently throwing to them really makes things easy. Beane has failed JA here. It’s quite simple. 1 Quote

He’s already top 5. Higgins is an all pro. It’s not like those guys fall off trees. Quote

You cannot look at one game and think that is the reason for anything else. Every game is different and every outcome is random. What will you say if they lose to the Jets next week? Dolphins had 2 really good/elite WRs and they could barely make the playoffs. Last year the Vikings had one of the best WRs and got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Bengals had 2 elite WRs last year and they didn't make the playoffs. Edited October 17 by Demoted 1 Quote

shrader Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 Is anyone going to next week’s game? I’ll be the guy in the Josh Allen jersey. Seriously though, it’s probably been at least 20 years since I’ve gone to a game. Quote

carpandean Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 What's the chance that the Patriots win the Division, the Bills have to face the Chiefs in the first round at Arrowhead, and the Jets and Dolphins draft franchise QB's with the 1st and 2nd overall picks? I'll see myself out ... 1 Quote

PASabreFan Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 1 hour ago, That Aud Smell said: i'll sh1t in my hat if that happens. How would you handicap the chances? Is 50 50 too generous for the Sabres? Too low for the Bills? 1 Quote
Scottysabres Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 This was obviously a tuck and roll year for the Bills. They need help at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Given Allen’s able to keep them in late round draft pick area and Beane doesn’t trade off players for serious draft picks, what are the odds Allen is forcing Beanes hand this season to trade for talent to help them?
