True but 1.5" shorter and 18 lbs lighter according to nfl.com.  Hopefully he can be a returner

And the WR room was a concern last year as well. That doesn't make it not a concern this year.

Sure, criticize the Sabres for missing the playoffs for 14 years. But criticize a team as successful as the Bills? Have an opinion about what they should do, but to act like Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott are incompetent boobs is laughable.

By inference that because we lost X amount of receiving yards from one game that those in charge of building the team are screwing up by not seeing the reason for concern that you clearly see. 

Of course you ignore the yet-to-be realized receiving yardage from new Bills receivers Josh Palmer and now Elijah Moore. That's not even counting the yards from a fully healthy Curtis Samuel. And of course being only May 1, there's still over 4 months before the start of the season and players sign at any time.

Invent a problem, complain about said problem. You'd think this regime earned some benefit of the doubt with their record. Apparently not.

The other thing is that the Bills took a committee approach to catching passes last year. Looking at one single game ignores the fact that a different receiver was leading the way each week. The two guys in question were 4th and 6th on the team in total reception yards. So go pick some other game randomly and you’ll be pretty likely to see the other guys leading the way.

So, instead of taking me at my word, you're building yourself a wonderful little strawman. I never said anyone was screwing up. I never said not taking a receiver high in the draft was screwing up. Try again. You're better than that.

I can't ignore something that doesn't yet exist. You can't just pretend these guys will perform, especially when they haven't wowed thus far in their career. I sure hope they do. Moore (who wasn't even on the team when this discussion started, so that makes it literally impossible to NOT "ignore the yet-to-be realized receiving yardage" by him) has had some pretty mediocre QBs and offenses, so it would be nice if he found something here with us. But it's probably more likely that he's just a bust. Third team at age 25.

I tend to agree. It's not a defense of Beane but his last 2 top picks prior to last week were Kincaid and Coleman. Those 2 and Samuel were all hurt for long stretches last year. They should all enter the summer healthy.  Then he signs Palmer who does get separation and cuts on a dime. Shakir gets paid.

I do think a lot of this noise is blowback for not picking Worthy last year. He has twice been accused of domestic violence, so I'm sensing a pattern in the character dept. 

When you lead the NFL in scoring, the issue is the D. We all saw what Philly did in the SB. They had 1 vet WR visit and I'm guessing more will be talked to. 

Beefing up the D was prudent.

It’s because when he was expected to grow into passing option two from his role of passing option four,  but it didn’t work out during his last year in Buffalo.  But he’s well liked among his teammates and the fan base. He’s just not a WR2 is all.
