Got there "late" so really only saw a 3 on 1 -> 2 -> 3 drill & the final hard skate. They were off the ice at 10:07. (I was there at 9:47, heard they were already well into practice by 9:30.)

Like I mentioned in the other thread, Nylander & Malone were no shows & Osmonski & Guhle were splitting time W/ Ristoleinen in what I saw. Ullmann was looking good.

Sabres' lines Group B:

Kane-Eichel-Pominville

Pouliot-Reinhart-Moses

Deslauriers-Porter-Bailey

Griffith-Josefson-Baptiste

Hagel-Glotov

So if we interpret the Group A and Group B top lines as the intended top two, we have:

Girgensons-ROR-Okposo

Kane-Eichel-Pominville

Then we have the next two lines give an indication of Housley's thoughts:

Pouliot-Reinhart-Moses (placeholder for whoever wins the 3rd RW battle?)

Moulson-Larsson-Fasching

That seems like a decent start and more along the lines of what we as SS board has been looking for. Is there any player that isn't above that we think should be there? I think Bailey & Baptiste are the obvious next choices, with Josefson as the 13th F?

Johnson getting beat up high on both sides.

Moses nice steal from Scandella in 5 on 5. Got drilled into the boards for it.

Wonder if Beaulieu wants to play on the right and Antipin indicated he wants the left or vice versus. I just wonder if that has been discussed already.

Here's a fun video of all 5 guys attacking

Beaulieu is left on his pairing. Antipin right on his.

Surprisingly, I disagree with Pi and love Girgs with ROR and KO.

I desperately want to see Girgs resurrect the promise of his first years and think that line would be very hard to play against.

Also thought Jason would get the first shot with Eichel. Be interesting to see how that plays out.

Antipin is definitely short but seems stocky. Doesn't play physical but appears to be good at positioning. Has good speed.

My concern with him is his stature and how that impacts his ability to win battles and protect the puck in the d-zone.

Case in point...
