K-9
true. Almost any time you hear "stream to your device" from a big media company, it means you're going to need a cable account. It's a bit maddening for stuff that's on broadcast TV though; that should be free! :) Over the air is still free. Anything else will cost you. BagBoy
Holy heck. Carey Price last 15 games with Team Canada... 15-0 1.05 GAA .962 save percentage
bunomatic
Europes controlling play pretty good here with a 1-cod lead early in the 2nd. Tavares missed a wide open net when he rang it off the post from 6 feet out.
bunomatic
Babcocks getting outcoached here. Team seems discombobulated with turnovers and the like. Game three seems like a distinct possibility.
WildCard
Canada finally scores, looks like we may be headed for OT. Europe better pray they can make it to a SO
Thorner
Doughty has been awful today. Great patience by Sid, setting up the game tier. He was looking dangerous.

bunomatic
Marchand with a wicked shorty Europe had Canada on the ropes for much of the game but Canada wins !
Claude Balls
You would think Canada just won the gold in the Olympics. Glad to see someone cared about the tourney, because no one else did. Edited September 30, 2016 by Claude Balls

BagBoy
I'm happier than a pig in schit, but you gotta give credit to Team Europe. They earned everything they got.
SwampD
That was fun. I like pretty much everyone on both teams, even Marchand. Except for Getzlaf, though. He can go screw. He just seems like the biggest douche to me.

I wouldn't care nearly as much as if the US won a gold or the Sabres won a cup. I watched all of 20 mins of this entire tourney. Could care less. Didn't even watch either US or Team NA when they were still alive. I might enjoy it more if it weren't played right before the NHL season started. When you assemble the best players of any sport the fans of that sport will jump on board. Just because its not the olympics doesn't mean its meaningless. But I get it. When your countries team sucks in a particular tourney its hard to get into it. It won't take long before the States is the team to beat and they go on a dominant run and I'll put money on it that your fellow Americans will all of a sudden feel that this tourney means something. I doubt very much that if they win U.S. fans would say well that was meaningless.

I just don't like the timing of the tourney, and I definitely don't like losing to Canada over and over. I'm still living in 1980.
