kishoph Posted March 13, 2014 Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 18 goals on 62 penalty shots doesn't seem like a high percentage reward for being interfered with on a breakaway. I'm sure when the goalies and their equipment didn't take up 60% of the net, a penalty shot was a bigger deal. They never say anything remotely interesting, and frankly even if they actually did I still think it takes their focus away from what's important, winning the game.
