Trettioåtta
Miller and Emery get the shutouts. Shootout to determine the winner
Andrew Amerk
Miller gets that elusive shutout. Very nice shoot out goal by Oshie.

Peppy22
Yeah but looks like Miller will be the backup vs. Buffalo and Elliott will play
Jsixspd
What a huge shut out for Ryan, at home in St. Louis, and thru overtime too! Ryan was on fire after that shaky loss to Dallas - nice to see he can ratchet it up a gear when he needs to. And of course, I forgot to record it. Sigh! Jsixspd
For good teams, a game against the Sabres seems like a fine time to give the starting goalie a rest. Sad but true.
Claude_Verret
For good teams, a game against the Sabres seems like a fine time to give the starting goalie a rest. Sad but true. And in seasons past this practice was a big boost towards our late season runs to nowhere. Tanking early and well has made it irrelevant this year thankfully. SabresBillsFan
I'm kinda hope the Blues make the conference finals so we can take that first pick. I don't trust the Blues to sign him even if he does sign there. They could have an agreement reach but not announce it until after the draft giving us a third rounder. dEnnis the Menace
maybe they are trying to avoid any emotional issues Miller may have returning to play against the team he has played for the last 12+ years? I was kind of hoping he'd play though, and beat us... :(
26CornerBlitz
Ryan Miller talks about last night's shutout and the emotions of seeing his Buffalo teammates in town. <5:20> @IanSabresPR With the #Sabres and #STLBlues facing off tomorrow, here's a breakdown of the potential scenarios for the 2/28 trade. apuszczalowski
They could sit Miller and Elliot, just hang a jersey from the goal and I'm sure the Blues would still win the game without issues..........

Ross Rhea
7 out out of 15 games with a sv% of .900 or under and 6 out of 15 games giving up 3 or more goals. Probably not what the Blue had in mind when they made the trade, eh!
I am Defecting
Miller's getting a rest today against the Blackhawks. Brian Elliot will start. It's not the typical situation where the backup would start, but Elliot's better than the average backup. Wouldn't it be funny if the Blues rode Elliot to the Conference Finals? I am Defecting
Fine by me as long as they make it to give the Sabres their 2014 1st round pick. Same here. No disrespect, but if you don't work for the Sabres, do you happen to work for East Management Services, or are you a third or fourth party agent of either entity? I like your informative posts, by the way, and don't have a problem with your enthusiasm.

I am Defecting
Thanks for the kind words. I work for none of those entities. And you're not a Secret Agent?.. Curious indeed. If you are a secret agent, it's OK - you can say, "no," and I'll "understand." Were hiring double secret agents, BTW, now that the sequestration is over - so PM me your resume, if you'd like to say, "yes," but your current job forbids it. K-9
Fine by me as long as they make it to give the Sabres their 2014 1st round pick. I believe MIller has to play at least 50% of the time in the first two rounds, so if they ride Elliot to the WCF, it means we don't get their first this year. GO SABRES!!!
