I'll admit to being at the front of the line for Kotalik's future banishment from this roster, but... The shoot-out/ PP point shot factor has me wondering. I would say you have to consider bringing him back at the right price. Let's compare to another shoot-out-wizard-with-shortcomings, Jussi Jokinen. 2 years, $ 3.4 M. He's a decent 2-trick pony, but he's not what this team needs, and they aren't going to give up on MacArthur or Paille, or keep Kennedy or Gerbe in Portland, in favor of more of the same from Kotalik. To me, some SO wins with his aid mean a lot come the beginning of April. The softness is a problem though. What if he takes Hecht's spot on the roster? I guess the friendship is not that strong to bring Koivu here. It obvously is not as strong as...let's say...the bond between Mike Grier and Chris Drury.
