I think the competition for the forwards will be at an all-time high with the young players that have developed. I would not sell the farm for a forward but would add depth to the Defense. Goaltending seems to be improving with Levi and Subbans development in Rochester. Add UPL and Comrie, the goaltending should be good enough. Those goalies need playing time to stay sharp and continue developing.

Wonder if Levi could head to Rochester for the playoffs (apologies if already mentioned)? I also have read on the Amerk site, that Subban is playing better.

Comrie's AHL save percentage is better than UPL's. Uhlmark's save percentage in the AHL was similar to Comrie's. Maybe Comrie needs more NHL time in net?

I am worried also. I hope Josh continues to work hard on his game in the off-season more than his golf. Both Diggs and Allen need to "patch things up." If not I would trade Diggs now. OL needs some help or a better scheme. Defensively will go thru some growing pains and need some help with the draft.

Finally watched a full game. Thoughts: Tuch is a stud. Was not impressed with Mitts or VO - to weak on the puck. The kids are still growing. Was shocked on how bad the passes were getting out of the defensive zone. Carolina did a good job closing up the middle of the ice.

Tough on the players to get back up and play again this Sunday. I hope they are recieving some support from experts on handling what they saw and are going thru currently. I was reminded by someone, think of fireman, police officers, war veterans on how they had to handle watching someone they worked with / lived with, see situations like this and then have to brush themselves off and go back at it. Man.....

It will be tough just to show up and compete against the Patriots, let alone finish the Bengal game.

I am starting to get tired of reading from the press, we didn't show up to compete, the first period we were not competing, we couldn't compete at the end, etc. Ok if this is the problem, change it. If a player doesn't compete have him pick splinters out of his sphincter.

Until the Sabres can get over retread untalented players on the roster that only put up 10 15 points, the results will be the same. Girgensons good guy, says the right things, however for this team to get to the playoffs the roster needs improvement. They need to give up 30-40 goals less than last year and score 50 more goals to keep up with playoff teams. I am sorry but Girgensons will not improve the goal scoring.

Exactly, the Pittsburgh game last year and Jacksonville, they didnt coach like they were the better team, don't coach down to your opponent. Make the decisions of a winner and the champions you are or will be.

Nothing like going to a playoff game in an outdoor stadium. Indoor stadiums are boring, they hire personnel in Detroit to help entertain the crowd and keep them enthused. Been thinking of making the trip tomorrow from West Michigan but not sure if the borders are open. Miss the activity of the people at the bills games. Not your typical after dinner crowd like Detroit or Grand Rapids Griffins games.

Hmmmm, Bills could have a good chance of losing all the games the rest of the season.

Having a great goalie is like having a great quarterback. It is needed if your goal is to win a Cup. If that type of goalie is available in the trade you take it. Being able to play an up tempo style while making mistakes will require a top end goalie. However, if one is not available and you get what you were looking for, make the deal.
