  1. LOL, maybe she will write a new song about not dropping me now or staying on your side...
  2. LOL - The current rate - 69 points this season. To make the playoffs, need to average 1.4 points per game the rest of the way.
  3. You have to remember, that Steve Y. did the same thing last year and it did not work out (free agent signings). He did it again and it is working this year.
  4. Besides playing against two teams last night, it was a great game. Too bad they lost.
  5. Not according to his resume. I was comparing their work history. Peca has just as much experience.
  6. Sitting at 20 after 21, to hit 100 need approximately 35 wins and 9 ties in the next 61 games. Can you say 13.
  7. Beginning in the 2012–13 season, Peca was named head coach of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), where he coached through the 2013–14 season. After the 2012–13 season, he was named OJHL Coach of the Year. In his two years of coaching, he had 66 wins in 108 regular season games. Michael Peca served as head coach of the Bantam Major Jr. Sabres in addition to his duties as general manager and director of hockey operations for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres. On February 10, 2021, Peca was hired by the Washington Capitals to be a player development coach working with the "taxi squad" players for the 2020–21 season. In 2021, he was hired by the Buffalo Sabres as an assistant coach with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans. Peca was announced as an assistant coach with the Rangers on June 20, 2023, joining under new head coach Peter Laviolette. Peca - 11 years of coaching On June 7, 2011, Brind'Amour was introduced by the Carolina Hurricanes as their assistant coach and development coach while retaining his role in developing the franchise's forwards while spending some time behind the bench in the NHL. On May 8, 2018, Brind'Amour was hired as the Hurricanes' head coach. Brind'Amour - 7 years experience Peca is ready.
  8. What is weird, is that KA had a plan. Pile up assets. Now he has all these young forwards, and he seems confused. Should they go down or not? Seems like DG doesn't have a clue either. Great way to screw up the future.
  9. I would rather see the kids play if the Sabres will be a perennial non-playoff team.
  10. Rosen, Novikov, Kulich, and Clague are the only "plus" players with double-digit games played. They have given up the second most goals.
  11. I remember waiting and waiting to watch him get the puck and then go end to end. The most exciting moment in sports.
  12. I am confused about the benching of Cook. He fumbled = and got benched. Josh throws the ball to the other team and he still plays.
  13. He needs Josh! Josh and Mr. Bill.
  14. I had a dream. Bill Belichick is fired. Buffalo signed him and lets him run the football operations.
  15. Diggs melt downs, obviously now, that there is a problem in One Bills Drive.
  16. I had a thought: why call timeout? Force the Broncos to run on the field and kick it in a hurry? They didn't have any timeouts and we didn't need to watch another interception. and that hail mary toss in the first half, I thought it was meant to be.
  17. At least I can watch a better coach team here locally - The Lions. OMG, what is the world coming to???
  18. An exhibition on coaching. Someone got schooled at the end and most of the game. I will give myself 13 seconds to get over it, look for a Music City miracle, and then head wide right.
  19. I think people have memories - like the last 12 years. With the current pace, the Sabres end up with 82 points. To hit 100 need to average 1.26 points per game the rest of the way. 3 points behind the goal.
  20. Like Mitts and Tage. If only they had 4 minutes to prove themselves.
  21. Good idea. After carefully reviewing all the players, sitting down with the coaching staff in the preseason, going through the schedule, and designing a lineup that best matches up against the opponent. Then, as the season progresses, barring injuries, play your hot players more. It's easier than keeping the best players and then game planning vs your opponent based on the type of talent on hand.
