  1. Having a great goalie is like having a great quarterback. It is needed if your goal is to win a Cup. If that type of goalie is available in the trade you take it. Being able to play an up tempo style while making mistakes will require a top end goalie. However, if one is not available and you get what you were looking for, make the deal.
  2. Robin Lehner - "Where is the @nhlpa and all nhl players in all this attacks on our freedom of choice? Jack situation is crazy to me.. also people getting attacked by journalist that hides behind freedom of speech to trash peoples freedom of choice. When does the hypocrisy end? #lifeaftercareer" It appears Cole and Lehner have same ideals - freedom of choice.
  3. 2021 quarterback completion percentage - are QB's getting better or are Cornerbacks getting worse? Could it be this is what the NFL wants and adjust the rule/penalties to promote the passing game...? Josh will need to pick it up and get to at least 65 percent. 1 Baker Mayfield Cleveland Browns QB 81.6% 2 Teddy Bridgewater Denver Broncos QB 77.1% 3 Dak Prescott Dallas Cowboys QB 76.5% 4 Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs QB 76.1% 5 Russell Wilson Seattle Seahawks QB 74.1% 6 Mac JonesNew England Patriots QB 73.9% 7 Taylor Heinicke Washington Football Team QB 73.8% 8 Kyler Murray Arizona Cardinals QB 73.5% 9 Andy Dalton Chicago Bears QB 73.5% 10 Kirk Cousins Minnesota Vikings QB 71.6% 11 Jimmy Garoppolo San Francisco 49ers QB 70.9% 12Justin HerbertLos Angeles ChargersQB70.5% 12Tyrod TaylorHouston TexansQB70.5% 14Matthew StaffordLos Angeles RamsQB69.6% 15Matt RyanAtlanta FalconsQB69.1% 16Jared GoffDetroit LionsQB68.8% 17Sam DarnoldCarolina PanthersQB68.5% 18Joe BurrowCincinnati BengalsQB68.4% 19Aaron RodgersGreen Bay PackersQB67.3% 20Jalen HurtsPhiladelphia EaglesQB67.2% 21Derek CarrLas Vegas RaidersQB66.7% 22Lamar JacksonBaltimore RavensQB66.1% 23Carson WentzIndianapolis ColtsQB65.2% 24Tom BradyTampa Bay BuccaneersQB65.1% 25Ryan TannehillTennessee TitansQB64.0% 26Daniel JonesNew York GiantsQB63.8% 27Ben RoethlisbergerPittsburgh SteelersQB62.5% 28Jacoby BrissettMiami DolphinsQB60.0% 29Jameis WinstonNew Orleans SaintsQB59.5% 30Josh AllenBuffalo BillsQB56.0% 31Zach WilsonNew York JetsQB55.7% 32Tua TagovailoaMiami DolphinsQB54.8% 33Trevor LawrenceJacksonville JaguarsQB50.0%
  4. So they all got together and now it appears Jack is moving forward with the surgery. Now what happens if that is true? Is that why they got together to figure out if Jack moves on with the surgery where does he stand with the Sabres and the League. Makes for a great soap opera.
  5. I do believe the Browns are talented but lack the proper character to become a champion. Players like Clowney and OBJ seem selfish and self-absorbed. That kind of attitude in the clubhouse does not serve a team well.
  6. Dammit, We need to stop picking our noses and sucking face near and with infected people! I wonder if there is a mask for that... Seriously, yes it does slow down the symptoms and help, however the long term side effects are unknown along with short term ones. It doesn't create immunity. This is how it was sold. However the stats dont back that and now we have doubt and lack of faith.
  7. And not wearing a seatbelt or wearing a seatbelt puts the other vehicle at risk?
  8. Perfect example of numbers and science twisted to relay different perceptions and so called truths. Exactly why I posted those numbers to see how many would interpret it differently. . Not according to this internet article they don't "Cardiologists Refuse To Eat These Foods" Cardiologists Refuse To Eat These Foods (theactivetimes.com)
  9. Stupid is what stupid does and maybe they are not stupid. How about helmet laws for motorcycle riders? It is optional. Did you ride a bike as a kid and wear a helmet, gloves to protect your sensitive hands (lol) washed with palmolive soap, tie your pant legs with strings so they would not get caught in the chain? Look the shot creates a greater chance of survival from the virus, like an insurance policy. How it protects others and long term effects are not known, the jury is still out.
  10. Not really, there are professional medical personnel that A) have not received a vaccination B) do not want to be part of the current human testing program
  11. A writer I am not and yes my grammar is off...I admit my faults.
  12. Yes it is hard to accept facts for most ( I wont go there). At the end of Sunday; Washington had the highest increase, with a 127 percent jump to 15,564 cases. That was followed by Vermont with a 102 percent jump to 431 cases and New Hampshire with a 99 percent jump to 1,005 cases. Vermont is one of the highest vaccinated states with 25.4% Under 18, 81.3% 18-64 years old, and 99.99 64 and up.
  13. See, we can beg to differ and not get cancelled.... and why is that, because my profile pic doesn't have a chicken on someone's head...lol
  14. Explains why he couldnt overcome his mental health and substance abuse while with the Sabres until he moved on.
  15. I have an understanding of science. Beside ranting, the information provided from scientists is not always accepted by other scientists and this form of questioning leads to scientific fact. Right now this covid science is a big worldwide experiment using millions of human test subjects. Even your most famous epidemiologists worldwide disagree on the vaccinations and their effectiveness and the long term health issues. Until all scientific perspectives are allowed to be heard and researched, we may never see a solution to this virus.
  16. LOL, and I see it the same way from my perspective. I grew up with a parent working in research for one of the vacine producing companies. I used to help him on weekends doing mass surgery on thousands of small animals removing certain organs to see how they react to certain possible new drugs. (he did the surgery I grabbed the cages and returned the animals, note a father can not bring a child to do this today due to certain regulations). So I have a science background (minor in chemistry and enough biology classes including microbiology, note I am not an expert but have a basic understanding of science) it is in the family and when the virus first broke out and we were told to disinfect everything we touched, bags from the grocery store, gas pump handles, I thought something doesnt seem right. Virus's dont live for two weeks on an outdoor gas pump, it is not scientifically correct. Just like the term vaccine - which creates immunity and the vaccines currently do not, based on the evidence of vaccinated people getting sick from what they were vaccinated against. What has happened is the science has been twisted and turned into myths. Another example - why stand six feet away? This is science. To catch the virus you have to ingest it, breathe it in, thru your ears, eyes, ***** or other parts where it can get it. Having sex, petting, etc... is how it spreads. We in Michigan were threatened, that if we were outsite we couldnt do this or that, well it did not match the science. How many large events in Michigan (outdoor events) happened and no increase in Covid infection =none - Science. This virus does not have wings. It doesn;t fly around and enter your body over 100 of yards away like a biting fly or mosquito. It doesnt single certain people or races out. Thats science. Vaccinated people by Pfizer, Moderna, J&J are not immune. So you say follow the science, what science, to wear two masks, one mask, or no masks? Who is using their twisted ideas of science to move people to a certain category or ideals. In today's world it is hard to figure out which is fact and what is fiction. What is science and what is a myth. The media - well they dont help. The government - they have different agenda's then we the people no matter what party they are a part of. Entertainers/sports figures have their own agendas. When in this country did it turn into well because you believe this you are an idiot? We used to listen to all sides of debates and scientific research and information without cancelling out people who disagree or offer a different opinion. Try that on Social media - facebook, twitter, and you will be cancelled out for your ideas or thoughts. Weird, I get it. I dont hate you for having a different opinion. It is your right and choice. Matter of fact it is good to listen to another perspective. However alot of what is going on today doesn't allow it. Critical thinking (in schools from K to college), allowing to think for yourself and make your own decisions without being ridiculed or canceled out is not America today. It is a shame...
  17. Getting 4 players for one is tough in NHL. You add 10 mill and one player, you are going to need those prospects (because of the their lower cap hit) to fill out the roster. Giving draft picks is different, there are a bunch of variables - does he develop, skills, what number is the pick (not round but is it top 10 or 50th),etc . Sabres want 5 players or 4 = tough to get. Sabres also have cap space this year to eat a bad contract to put on the KO Skinner line, but that will slow down the development of the current players on the team and slow down the rebuild. This could end up in court over Jack's current contract and injury mess (as mentioned above).
  18. Will Quinn make the lineup? How about Arttu Ruotsalainen?
  19. I say anyone who has been in office, any political office for more than two terms, VOTE THEM OUT! Regardless of what line they walk.
  20. How do you steal a goalie with under a 100 starts, missed starts over the last 4 years with injuries, and pay him 5 million a year?
  21. Here comes the Beef - Hayden = a solid defensive option for the fourth line who also has some experience penalty killing and will engage physically when needed.
  22. I am refering to the current brass. The rest is history and can not change that, it is what it is.
  23. In your opinion what was handled poorly...
