  1. That didn't look like grabbing to me...
  2. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
  3. Leave it alone
  4. I think that is right. Too many early road games..
  5. I'm pretty sure it's what left of the British Empire. :flirt:
  6. Seem pretty effective against Zombies... And if you have seen the new movie "The Watch", Aliens too...
  7. How about every aspect of the Curiosity rover? It's truly a shame there isn't video for one of the greatest engineering achievements of all time. I heard today that a sequence of 85 separate firings had to be made to pull that off. The fact that it was never tested before it left was incredible.. Imagine the angst of being on that engineering team.. Their risk - reward was off the charts... Congratulations JPL... Congratulations America...
  8. Do you think Rob Ray would have waited? I don't. He would have peeled off bodies until he got to Lucic. The time to act was the time they were on the ice together. Out of curiosity, I know it's taboo for a player to leave the bench, but don't you think this was a situation akin to a bench clearing baseball brawl? Maybe then Shanahan would have treated it/saw it differently... I'll also repeat this episode is why I want Pominville replaced as Captain. If there was ever a time to lead, he failed the test.
  9. I'm with you... I just don't see where the goals are going to come from. So now we are assembling a team of Kaletas... Yippee.... That'll be fun to watch them lose as they hit everything in sight. I mean, we now have Pardy and Scott.. They should be good for an easy couple of goals... I sure hope I'm wrong... Maybe a work stoppage won't be such a bad thing this year..
  10. I had a phrase for this type of person. I came up with it years ago when I was studying comp sci at RIOT... Self correcting faulty unit..
  11. I didn't mean to imply the name should be Jr Sabres. I just used it to differentiate it from the big club. I personally like Buffalo Breakers or something similar.
  12. I say yes he is. But I also heavily caveat that with not from a numercial medal count point of view but from a competitiveness standpoint. The man is a machine.. He competes and he wins... And doing that over a span of 12 years is impressive.. Going eight for eight four years ago was so improbable and only occurred because he tapped millesconds ahead of his competition in one race,,,
  13. I would also add to that.. Lidstrom was a respected player in the league, so he didn't get many cheap shots thrown at him. Kaleta plays on the edge and as such is a victim of what goes around comes around..
  14. I'm not convinced that Buffalo could support both the Sabres and an OHL team. If they played at different times of the year, I could see it. But I would think that when the Sabres are playing on the same night as the Junior Sabres, which one is the population going to care about and support? I just don't think there is enough disposable income in WNY to support the Bills, Sabres and Junior Sabres at the same time.... The Sabres and Bills have plenty of North of the Border support. But, but, but, there is plenty of hockey being played at all levels in Canada that I can't see them supporting a junior hockey team in a Buffalo burb.
  15. That's what happens when you change the vendor at the 11th hour... my guess.,,,
  16. Lol... What a line... In the best of Drane that might just be the best ever... . I just asked St Anthony to help me find my keys.. Worked...
  17. My feeling too.. What's to watch? It is like watching a varsity team playing a JV team.
  18. Imagine how much fun this board would be if that deal went through....
  19. 100 channels, of which 80 you don't watch... Oh and NFL Sunday Ticket and NHL Hockey.....
  20. First time I can remember, I outright skipped the opening ceremony. Not sure why, but this year I had zero interest,
  21. The Doan watch is like the chinese water torture... drip.. drip .. drip.. no end in sight...
  22. I know a lot of folks panned my first in east (predicted before Nash) thing because of a weak defense and an early indication that the Staals would play on the same line. I think what a bunch of folks are glossing over is what a defensive gem Jordan Staal is on the PK and in general. I suspect his addition alone will help cover up some of the defensive issues of the defense, I'm standing by my assertion that this Carolina team is going to be a tough out and will be fighting for the numero uno seed. I'm also guessing moving Eric to wing will only last a few games before they are separated. Jordan is not a number 1 center and Eric is. I see them getting separated. In fact it would not surprise me to see them as Eric, Skinner, Jordan (1,2,3)
  23. Yeah, it's conveniently missing from that artist rendering...
  24. 95 in Berlin is newsworthy. 95 in Mid Atlantic is SSDD. The 80-90 percent humidity with the 90 though is the real killer. Today 102 and 85%. Ugh..
