What does the "internals are showing consistent movement" mean?

Holy War and Peace Batman... Can't address it all, but here is some of my thoughts... There are some claims I have never heard of before in here and some I heard before. As much as I think it is all but over for Romney, I saw a Rasmussen poll showing him ahead of Obama in Florida by 2 points... Well withing the error, but still, I would think Florida should go decidely for Obama with all the votes in Miami-Dade, Broward, Plam Beach, Hillsborough and Orange County... I can't get my head around on how he can be ahead in that state with all those seniors, women, hispanic and black voting blocs there breaking democratic this year. Reagan was teflon and Obama is turning into teflon as well.. As much as you don't like it, as I see the tea leaves right now, it is NOT the economy stupid but rather YOUR money stupid... I don't get it either. But I'm fascinated with it... My take is Obama ACTIVELY sought the Presidency at a time of extreme economic downturn. He chose that time to run. He promised to make things better. At some point, he has to stop the I inherited bit and start acknowleging the I may not be able to fix it bit... Probably November 8th. By the way, interesting tidbit you cite about Romney giving BYU all his inheritance. That is quite the gesture. I had never heard that before. Ryan in 2016...

That's where I'm at. I don't see Romney winning the cities, the hispanic or black vote and I sure as heck don't see him winning the women's vote. That is three major voting blocs and one big demographic against the Republicans. Every poll I have seen, except Rasmussen, has Obama consistently ahead. Romney is going to need something big like PA or MI to go his way for him to unseat Obama. I don't think the numbers are there for Romney. And now his convention will be greatly impacted by Isaac. Someone should have told the Republicans that late August and September is primo hurricane time...

Agreed...:)

ELP .. Yeah man...welcome back my friends to the show that never ends....

So Isaac is obviously a Democrat..

Saw Clapton back in the day at the Aud... Hands down the worst concert I ever saw... Not even a close second. He was so drunk, falling down, etc, it effected his singing.. Collossial waste of money...

I want a SC.. All the stamping of feet over all the years has not helped..

I'm actually quite conflicted. For some people this election is as clear a choice as left or right, up or down, or cold or hot. Not for me. I would actually prefer a regime change, I think, but am having a hard time siding with the present field. I got sucked into the Obama aura a few years back. Now I'm not so sure. Nothing written on here would sway me one way or the other as it is all rather superficial. I'm wrestling with who will be better for the economy over the next four years. Who will pave a better path to Americans returning to work? It just ain't clear to me. And as much as I want the candidates to talk about it, we are in a never ending BS cycle of tax returns and chains. I think I am evolving to the point that the economy can't be fixed by the policies of either and our current form of stalemate government. I just wish some party would get serious about fixing the tax code once and for all..

It's all I got. I feel the same way.... Except for the McCain part..

You can unplug now. Your brainwashing is complete.

I read the quote. How do you know he wasn't talking about Bismarck? -:)

Biden gets the benefit of the doubt here...

The part of the quote that makes me uncertain it was a slip of the tongue was this part ".... the female body has ways to try and shut that whole thing down". This part hasn't been challenged, but the word "legitimate" has...
-
In theory yes. But he doesn't have a DL body. So I presume he was going to play like Lawrence Taylor did... A LB playing a standup DE. Now I admit I have seen exactly zero plays of his, so I was just 'spaculating'..

http://www.cnn.com/2012/08/20/politics/campaign-wrap/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 How do guys like this get elected? In a season of outrageous statements, this has to vault to the top of the list...

I've got to say I'm a bit bummed by this. I was hoping that a few years off would bring him some level of rejuvenation. I haven't been following the linebacker depth at Bills camp. Are they are getting thin at LB?

I can take most, but Bill Maher really rubs me the wrong way... The word I have for him is sanctimonious... Here's one to raise a few cackles... Bill Maher = Rush Limbaugh = Chris Matthews.... To me they're all uncompromising blowhards...

I love the political season. And I love the late night reaction to it.. Jon Stewart with his Cockblock the vote is awesome.. I also like Democalyspe and Bidens "Chains you can believe in" http://www.govexec.com/oversight/2012/08/play-day-cuts-pbs-and-joe-biden/57500/

I hope it doesn't come across like that.. After all, I'm a registered Republican. I call it as I see it...

I'm pretty sure voter ID laws promoted by Republicans are intended to suppress the inner city vote.... It isn't difficult to connect those dots... The only chance the GOP has in PA is to keep the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh inner city vote as low as possible. The same holds in places like Cleveland, Flint, Detroit, Milwaukee, etc...
