I know... Owners do price fixing and they get into all sorts of problems. Players though can freely admit to it, hold the entire system hostage, get identical deals and it's no problemo...

I repeat paying Suter and Parise 98M is INSANE... Neither player is worth anything close to that amount of money. And now the price is set artificially high for future free agents... Owners are their own worst enemies.

I was listening to an interview with Prust on Sirius today. He said the Rangers told him at season's end that he would not be brought back. He said Montreal rushed in with the offer.

Understood. Any team that pays him that much gets what they deserve... He's worth, maybe 6M. Anything over that is paying for hype.
