I voted "jury's out"....... but really do like what I see from such a young man, and I think we all can agree on that. As an 18 YO he is extremely confident with the puck, and he never seems to get rattled...... smooth, calm, confidence. Can't wait to see him put on 10 lbs.

Oh look....... we found our niche.

Part of it, is it's a different era. Guys used to have roots on a team. Now they're mostly short term...... earlier in the year when Baloo was physical a couple of times, I wondered "who the hell is that?" I like it..... and want to see more. Then he becomes a short term member...... trade material, and that behavior disappears. Guys like Kaleta get labelled by the NHL to the point that they're ineffective...... different era. OK..... so I overlooked the talent a little.........

If we don't resign Mr. Skinner, I will feel defeated / exhausted / depleted / disgusted / as a fan. A lot will happen between now and then, but without 53 I can't imagine being a better team in '19-'20......

I'm in this camp...... there's a part of me that keeps waiting for better performances, and there's another part that realizes we just don't have the horses. Yet. No reason why we can't win this one though............. Go Sabres.

Wow...... absolutely the best GDT ever........ I've gone to the window 3x now (as instructed) and stuck my head out (3rd time with a hat on).......and yelled "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!" Now my neighbors look like preppers...... they're fortifying their walls without speaker of the house approval. I can smell hot oil boiling in case I cross the moat. They've cocked the trebuchets (but haven't lit the projectiles yet). Now I'm mad as hell and scared, and ready to play defense........ sound familiar?
