Agee. Not sure Ulmark ever was going to sign. Where they messed up was letting him get to fee agency. Having said that I'm not the biggest fan of giving him what he got. To inconsistent and injuries worried me. He could be lights out in stretches and not so great at times. Don't look at him as long time #1 personally.

Just can't get as emotionally involved with sports as some seem to. Lot of other things take up that space in my life. Not sure I even care for ten minutes. Probably just age.

I think you believe the franchises problem is they won't spend. I don't. They did and they lost. The problem was they spent wrongly and hired poorly and the two are hand in hand the problem.

I agree. Particularly on having balance. You do need toughness in your lineup somewhere. Personally I'm glad they've cut down on the fighting as so much of it was show time but you still need the toughness you refer to.

Dunleavy needs to call play by play and not color side bits while missing the play by play.

Has to be as good as Dunleavey.

Ulmark ,in my opinion, was up and down when he was here. Could look great for stretches then not so great. Also he seemed prone to injury. I wasn't ready personally to give him what he got. Just me.

Actually the goaltending hadn't been too bad until last game. Agree the team does need an upgrade there and the team has played hard.

I don't agree that they're skinflints. They just don't hire the right people. Hopefully KA and company will turn out to be a hit. They have shown they're willing to spend and have in the past. I think Ulmark isn't a Bruin because of cheap ownership. I wouldn't have given him the contract either. Plus I think he was playing us.

The Dolphins, in my opinion are a much better team than Jacksonville. We could very easily have lost that game with the Dolphins. They have a pretty darn good defense.

I agree with your timeline for playoffs. I have hopes that next year will be at least where we can compete against the better teams and win a share of them. This year is about development only.

Don't think too many of us went bananas. Actually this is what most expected. Young prospects learning to play at this level. Hopefully they develop in time but this year don't expect much in the way of winning against most teams.
