I was for Housley getting hired originally but I'm in the show me something this year or go away team. On paper this is the best team we've had in the last 4 seasons. If Disco Dan could basically average (2) 80 point seasons in his tenure and get tar n' feathered, Phil better have this team in the 90 point range or be gone. Reasons: Jack, Rasmus and Samson aren't kids anymore, Casey and Dahlin appear to be the real deal, the 3rd line of Blues is the best 3rd line we've had in years just to start with. I'll give him the first month to bring the team along but after that I'm not only expecting much better play but results too.

I think it would be naive to believe they've not already had some discussions on what it would take to resign him. With that in mind, it wouldn't surprise me to see an extension done prior to the season beginning. I just don't see them making this deal and then flipping him at the deadline.

I find it hard to believe that they don't have a deal with him already. If he waived his NMC, that makes me believe it won't be long before they announce something. Pu is an up and comer but they really didn't give up much as long as he's not a rental. If I read right he's 6th in 5v5 goals in the last few years and there's some big names in that mix. Berglund and Sobotka are looking better and better as the 3rd and 4th line centers.

It's always fun to read someone's BS narrative who doesn't give the full information on it. 9-11 is correct 12-13 completely skewers your take because the NHL only played approximately a 1/2 season that year. 13 thru 17 he averaged just over 60 games. Last year again screws it up because he basically was out over 75% of the year. I understand we'd all like to see him stay healthy but don't make up BS because you don't like the guy. Oh and by the way are you going to throw BS on Jack E. also?? because he's played less games than Bogosian did in his first 3 seasons.

That works better for me too but I'll fit in whatever works for most.

Actually that was why I watched it, the wife saw the preview of the next movie in the franchise and she wanted to see it. So we watched the 1st in the series and from what I can tell its a whole new cast, which is disappointing because Rooney Mara was just awesome in that movie. If you haven't seen Hell or High Water, that's another one for the must see list.

Watched 4 movies recently and all were awesome A Perfect World- Gran Torino- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Hell or High Water I'm not sure which one was my favorite. All were better than I expected especially Dragon Tattoo, great performance by Rooney Mara.

Hyped: It will be the Maple Leafs Biggest Flop: LA Kings, they have made the playoffs and missed the playoffs off and on for several years running, this is an off year coming up and they have an awful lot of guys in the 30's right now. Best team: On paper the Lightning and if they pull off a Karlsson trade, they'll be tough to beat Biggest surprise: this is a tough one because who the heck would have picked the Avs this past year?? Panther's improvement shouldn't be a surprise so I'll pick the Flyers, JVR improves their offense enough to get above the Penguins in the standings this year.

I have to admit that except for a couple of songs that thrash metal is just amplified noise but I could say that for all heavy metal. Not knocking it if you like it but...........
