  1. Why yes my math may be off with 60 from what averages out to be 59 but that's still a bit closer to the thruth than 46. Is there any way to possibly talk about the Sabres D without the constant bombardment of Bogosian's injury history. I know what, why don't you start a topic "Bogosian and his inevitable injury" so you and everybody else who have the inability to talk about Bogosian without talking about it can OCD on it and not bore the living sh!t out of everyone else.
  2. It's always fun to read someone's BS narrative who doesn't give the full information on it. 9-11 is correct 12-13 completely skewers your take because the NHL only played approximately a 1/2 season that year. 13 thru 17 he averaged just over 60 games. Last year again screws it up because he basically was out over 75% of the year. I understand we'd all like to see him stay healthy but don't make up BS because you don't like the guy. Oh and by the way are you going to throw BS on Jack E. also?? because he's played less games than Bogosian did in his first 3 seasons.
  3. That works better for me too but I'll fit in whatever works for most.
  4. It's people like you who make America great Woody!!!
  5. Sheary--Eichel--Reinhart #1 Scoring Line ERod---CaseyM--Thompson #2 A lotta growing up to do Sobotka--Berglund--Okposo #3 100 point 3rd line Wilson--Larsson---Pommerville #4 Awaiting trade deadline and young guys
  6. Actually that was why I watched it, the wife saw the preview of the next movie in the franchise and she wanted to see it. So we watched the 1st in the series and from what I can tell its a whole new cast, which is disappointing because Rooney Mara was just awesome in that movie. If you haven't seen Hell or High Water, that's another one for the must see list.
  7. Watched 4 movies recently and all were awesome A Perfect World- Gran Torino- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Hell or High Water I'm not sure which one was my favorite. All were better than I expected especially Dragon Tattoo, great performance by Rooney Mara.
  8. I've got the LPs and in alphabetical order by Band/performer
  9. He's entitled to his opinion, it doesn't mean that he or you are wrong in your assessments.
  10. Thirty-third Wedding Anniversary today, I can barely believe she's put up with me all this time.
  11. My last 2 Paul Simon, Chris Stapleton and Joe Ely coming up tomorrow. So obviously metal isn't on my agenda at this age. No knock intended and I hope I didn't sound that way but it never was my cup of tea. Hope you have fun at yours.
  12. Hyped: It will be the Maple Leafs Biggest Flop: LA Kings, they have made the playoffs and missed the playoffs off and on for several years running, this is an off year coming up and they have an awful lot of guys in the 30's right now. Best team: On paper the Lightning and if they pull off a Karlsson trade, they'll be tough to beat Biggest surprise: this is a tough one because who the heck would have picked the Avs this past year?? Panther's improvement shouldn't be a surprise so I'll pick the Flyers, JVR improves their offense enough to get above the Penguins in the standings this year.
  13. I have to admit that except for a couple of songs that thrash metal is just amplified noise but I could say that for all heavy metal. Not knocking it if you like it but...........
  14. Yes it is, same issue here
  15. Sir you are on a 2 week WTO, why are you letting yourself get unfocused, get back on the ball and let us know when that TOGA party is scheduled.
  16. This is why Doohickie started the SS Precision topic. He doesn't have time to look this kind of sh!t up. I knew if anybody couldn't, you couldn't just let this go. As for his Mic, if he keeps dropping it, it won't be of any use again anyways.
  17. Yeah, you're just sitting back trying to recaptureA little of the story of, well time slips awayAnd leaves you with nothing mister butBoring stories of GLORY HOLES
  18. I'm going to have to stop by here more often, I notice in the last few posts you do mostly fresh water fishing. I'm trying to remember but it's been a long time since I fly-fished or was out on fresh water. The last few years I've been doing all salt water fishing.
  19. Yes you get hotter and colder in Dallasville than we do in Houston, although our humidity makes it unbearable
  20. That's a Canadian bloody mary isn't it?? Why don't you'z guys call it a bloody mary?? Who the heck thought of Caesar, I always think of that as a salad.
  21. I'm with you on this one, not that he doesn't have a lot to prove this year but it does look like he's improved his physical fitness and I'm not going to dismiss the fact that with all the Swedish players moving to Rochester apparently next year, that he will feel more comfortable there which translates into wanting to prove to his mates that he belongs. I'm hoping for a big improvement year from him.
  22. PP.......... Casey takes his spot, the Sabres PP is the only good thing about this team lately. I don't think they're going to change anything. What makes them so good is the versatility of the 4 forwards on it, Casey should be able to hold his own here. If Casey doesn't take his spot, exchange Berglund and Casey for PP1 and 2. I also think Dahlin, Sheary, Berglund, Scandella and Rodrigues will hold down the fort for the 2nd team. PK..... Sobotka will take his slot Defensive faceoffs is where we'll miss him the most. This is where Center by committee is our big chance. Housley is going to have to find someone he can trust. Don't be surprised if the wingers take more faceoffs than in the past. ROR will be missed but he isn't indispensable. They'll be fine.
  23. Not that it's a significant move but what do you do with Scandella, McCabe, Guhle, Hunwick, Beaulieu, Dahlin, Antipin, Falk, Borgen, Tennyson, Risto, Bogosian, Nelson, Pilut, Fedun, Hickey, Bryson, Stephens, Martin, am I missing anybody?? That's alot of Dmen for 2 teams, here and Rochester. Somebody has to go, I would think??
  24. I don't think there's going to be a major move but I do think JBotts makes something happen with the log jam of LHDs as an example. I'm getting to old to wait on a 5 year reconstruction plan with this team but I am ok and patient enough to get building from the bottom up as opposed to making some grand play now that just doesn't pan out later. If he doesn't do something prior to the season, I see a major redo again at the trade deadline around mid-season.
