John Rigas, disgraced former Sabres owner, passes at 96

His legacy will be remembered as criminal. That is lasting punishment. -
Scored VIP tix to see Slipknot at Darien Lake on Sunday. This is like the 4th or 5th time seeing them. Only once wasn't VIP seats. It’s good to know people. And I start a new job on Monday. Should be an interesting first day on the job.

I assumed it was your go to

Yeah that sounds like an accurate portrayal of how it all went down. Lol

Meh. It was his experience with the teams medical staff that he was dogging. Can't say I blame him. The worst thing he is doing here is creating drama. Some people don't know any better than to make the world around them burn. We see it every day in these pages. No different.

Maybe it was the crowd noise.

Can Sabres-Blue Jackets be Seen On-Line or Anywhere?

Well, we do love our histrionics here. -
Dude, I’m like 2’ away. Use your indoor voice.

Can Sabres-Blue Jackets be Seen On-Line or Anywhere?

Guy may have logged on and immediately asked the question without reading the top thread title. Politely letting him know the info he seeks is in the gameday thread title seemed reaction enough. Still love ya Ink. -
Is Don Granato the best coach the Sabres have had since Lindy Ruff?

Ron Rolston says hi. -
I’m gonna go out on a limb. (Not really) Jacks value is permanently diminished. Too many roadblocks to the surgery he wants. I don’t see a path where he elects the surgery the Sabres want. In either case there is risk (immediate and longer term) sufficient enough to deflate his trade value anyway. And there is a likelihood due to the above that he never sets foot on Sabre ice again to demonstrate his health in game situations. Best case is the stalemate results in the neck resolving on its own and Jack skates on his own for other teams in time for a trade next offseason. Worst case he gets whatever surgery and he doesn’t come back 100%. Best case still contains risk of “what if” and teams will offer value accordingly and worst case is a guy who never sees 19-20 performance again and carries risk and is valued accordingly. We may be fortunate to get an ROR level return. The neck injury badly scuttled any plan to use the return for Jack to speed up the rebuild.

I can’t see him giving up this seasons salary to do that. He’d have to be suspended and therefore unpaid.

The public messages are likely part of the negotiating ploy. I would not expect full disclosure in any public messages. I expect he is using public messages to bolster his negotiating stance. And that appears to be a pretty secretive process .

His best season was when the team was forced to lean heavily on him. My money is on the same happening again this season.

Headline Predictions for the Buffalo Sabres 2021-2022 Season
Weave replied to SHAAAUGHT!!!'s topic in The Aud Club
You two are as bad as Hoss and Liger, but a touch better than Liger and #namesomeoneelse, and nowhere near Buffalonil and NS/Amerk. In case anyone was ranking. -
Sounds like he knew you’d react the way you did and he wanted to soften the blow and let you know that you are still valued. If that was his intent, that’s a good boss.

I think #2 is the realistic choice for Rasmus.

That would be about an ideal season for Cozens. Yes please.
-
Well, minimal crowd in the stands so he’s gonna play his best. #sarcasm

30-40 pts and overmatched often, and substandard wingers preventing him from showing more.

This would have been my response. Missing camp likely means he’ll be an injury call up at some point. Hopefully he makes the call up permanent.

Quinn can’t even get replies in his own thread.
