I’m not sure that character issues is the correct phrase to describe Jack, but it is notable that KA singled out Jack as a person that he wanted to move on from. And I am sure KA was very aware that the base issue was talent and coaching. There was something that KA identified, and I don’t think it was a loss of love for the game.

Loaned, to me, implies there is a borrower. ie. a temporary user. The Mule will be coming back. And I like that we have an obvious nickname The Mule when The Foundation is a thing.

Important? I don't know. I do think this game will be a measuring stick. Kraken aren't lighting the world afire. They are perceived too be short of talent, especially scoring. This game should give us a reading on where this team really slots.

Obviously we (the fans) won’t have the medical information that the other GMs have, but it is another variable needed to discuss potential returns for Jack.
