Im not hopeful. I really think KA needs to force a goalie in here and make damn sure the team plays well enough to keep his morale in check.

I’m not excusing KA. We saw yesterday a very public “no” from a mediocre goalie. It is a real roadblock. The path is easier for most other teams. It is also KAs job to overcome it. I think the only path is via trade and accept that the guy we bring in doesn’t want to be here but has to because he doesn’t have no trade protection.

They didn’t have 11 seasons of futility. And people want to play for Stevie Y.

No. We have our current AHL goalie that noone trusts and 2 NCAA goalies that can choose to go UFA.

I’ll say this, the chances of an actually good goalie waiving his no trade clause to come here probably goes up appreciably with a Kane, a Manson and a really good bottom 6 forward. Thats playoffs IMO.
