#3 Because Buffalo runs strong until it doesn’t

I said it in that thread that no longer exists……. He’ll make a good return for a vet mentor to Power. And I think that is his real value. He’s probably 4th or 5th on the depth chart. Some team will be happy to get him in return.

My first instinct is to say, what a shame. But really, regardless of cause of death, what a shame. Totally selfish take….. they were one of my bucket list bands. After the show this past Fall I told my son, next time I’m splurging and we’re gonna be front and center. Even if they hire a new drummer it won’t be the same.

And left kids behind….. Glad I saw him this past Summer. Really a bummer. Feel bad for Dave. Lost 2 bandmates at a young age. Wow.

How absolutely Las Vegas would it be for that to hit?

Gimme a roster and I’ll vote. If all we add is a vet goalie and a bottom 6er or two my vote would be no.

Girgensons doesn’t get the love he should. Cozens probably has that spot instead. Big Z is in that spot for me though.

He’d make a great return for some team looking to move a vet RD that can mentor Power. You know, a hockey trade.

It is more than about whether or not you are winning the cup next year. This team has looked fantastic, and downright dreadful, based on confidence in their goalie. The players here need to have a goalie they can count on behind them or they wilt knowing the smallest mistake will be in the net. You can’t just throw UPL in there with a middle of the road backup and expect the team to develop a winning mindset. There needs to be a winning mindset goalie between the pipes every night too.

I’m glad I’m not the one being paid to figure this ***** out. Eleven was damned right. You don’t wanna be in goalie purgatory.

Was there anyone in the non waiver eligible list that didn’t get “assigned” to Roc for a hot minute?

We all should be thrilled by this. The notion that we can win later by losing now has to be pushed off a tall cliff.

I, for one, am ***** ecstatic that for the 1st trade deadline in a decade the team chose to focus on now over focusing on a dice roll that might pay off in 3-5 years.

Well thats just it. If you are going to fully “correct” the Sabres record for injuries, you need to do it to all of their opponents too. I’m guessing the difference in standings is marginal.

There is a ways to go before it feels like that. They’ll need to keep going for more than 3 weeks.
