For me, Reeves is only necessary if we are playing against 3 teams, whatever team Lucic is playing for these days, Washington if Wilson isn’t suspended again whatever night we play them, and whatever team Reeves is currently playi…… wait, never mind. Otherwise he just wouldn’t get enough ice time to warrant the roster spot. Really, there are guys who will drop the mitts that have more value on the ice. Hell, De-lo might better fit that description than Reeves, and he would be a bit player here. Id rather hold out for a player with a little more game in his game, than pick up Reeves. The last of the heavyweights isn’t really a good roster option anymore.

Tage is the more exciting player right now. His performance this season has the same vibes as that magical LaFontaine-Mogilny season when Alex scored 76 goals and LaFontaine would have won the scoring title if Lemieux didn’t have a season divined by God himself. Best? Man thats a tough call. Ras’ season is rapidly looking like a Sabres record breaking season.

I don’t know about Demko, but we don’t have a goalie until we actually have a goalie. Until our miracle goalie actually signs, we need to prioritize goalie.

They were all overtly political IMO. The plain contentious subject matters (Kane off ice issues, for example) that went off the rails were deleted or locked.

Look at the scores against teams that are currently in playoff positions.

My prediction is, down the stretch teams will focus more on defense and the goals per game will come down significantly, and with our inexperience and fire wagon style it will affect our team more than most others. We won’t lead the league in scoring.

At Taro, I 100% disagree. Continued losing will break them. It will break any team. The plan, any plan, is on borrowed time. Players are competitive. Players are driven. They won’t be content to see their peers win while this team evaluates and struggles. There needs to be an end point.

All I know is, this team stopped prioritizing winning, what 11-12 yrs ago, and I stopped prioritizing watching the team. And here I am 11-12 yrs later and they still aren’t giving me a reason to prioritize watching the team. JFC. I’m not sure I’ll ever be fanatical again. It’s not apathy, but it ain’t excitement either. I want to care enough to get excited, but I can’t make it happen anymore.
