Went to MSG Sabres game in October right before the run started. Id say about 10-15 percent Sabres fans maybe more. I think its Leaf fans in Buffalo that are the problem... they are awful at Bills games too. Even rooting for Bills.

Scandy sounds like he will be back... Guess Nelson tweaked a lat or oblique doubt fx ribs but who knows

Sabres are still a couple of scorers another puck mover and healthy D away from being top tier... but I think developing guys like Mitts and Thompson as well as Asplund and Olloffson and 3rd liner CJ Smith are gonna get them there. If Nyls comes thru next year should be it. This year is about learning about playoff hockey. Last 3 games were really good learning experiences with teams not taking Sabres lightly and Sabres learning they need just a little more to take next step. Hope Pilut keeps showing well, really think he adds speed to the back end.

Kid doesn't make many mistakes and has speed tons of speed to recover... wow is he fast...

Sabres have a three days off to lick their wounds, hopefully McCabe can come back soon... Secondary scoring is a must.. need to those two pics next year and the two the year after or all three if lucky next year in first round. But yes much more fun to watch.

That was a frustrating game Sabres had chances but no puck luck. Seeing eye deflection won the game. After the first played much better... missed McCabe on back end and Sheary’s speed, Sobtka is sn anker and Bergland not much better. Nashville played really goid D to combat Sabre speed and Eich needs to shoot sooner stop dipsy doodling before he shoots. Overall not bad but not enough.

Yeh and the analysis was meh and dumbed down... they usually have a higher standard and more indepth. This was bullet point journalism good for a press conference and group think repeating. Yeh, I disagreed with that one point, but the rest was worthy of Rob Ray keys to the game and thats about it.

Thinking the Refs needs to be roundly booed every chance they speak next home game... getting stupid the one sideness... can't watch all the holding on oline when it is called so one sided or not called... combined with all the useless timeouts and annoying ads, I hardly watch football anymore. Mostly highlights...

Yeh can't spend much time over there because folks tend to be so absolutist and critical of a point of view. Generally like your take though I don't totally agree with Allen not having the skills he needs... imo he just that he needs to be more consistent with them and then develop additional ones you describe. Right now, just can't stand McSlappy, don't think he has a clue on offense and while Diabol may be effective he needs some tools... and maybe Allen isn't that answer..., but crap the offense minus an aging Shady is a crap show.

As far as the Amerks acquiring a number 1 center... it ain't happening... show me any minor league team with a number 1 center and I'll show you a parent team that is losing... Any number 1 center in the minors at this point would be playing in the NHL, maybe not as a center... but definitely up with the big club. Gotta be really rare for a number 1 center to stay long in the minors.... maybe a late bloomer.

He didn't look bad, Sabres were skating in mud... looked burnt. He tried to jump up in plays, but didn't have any passes come his way... loved his speed, it was evident. May take a few games to fully adjust, but kid played with some mokie... didn't take crap off anyone. May need to pair him with someone who can clear the front of the net though.

I think its over... think Jack, Skinner and Dhalin and maybe a good word for Bogo and Risto who have been a workhorses.
