The more I read this thread, the more I think about the ROR situation. ROR to me was one of the those hypercritical people that you really couldn't argue with because he worked so hard... still he wasn't fun to be around and had no joy. It's hard to be around someone with those expectation and it just becomes a grind with everyone gritting their teeth. Jack and Sam seem like guys who want to have fun playing hockey... Skinner fits that bill for Jack and Pommer is an even keel that enjoys just playing. Sam is playing with now with Sheery who just works hard and keeps his mouth shut, but I think he is just a rink rat and adding Erod to that line who seems like a positive guy is a good thing for Sam... Sobtka is another no nonsense kind of guy and he and Erod can flip depending on how each line is working. Casey is coming along and the resurgence of KO helps him... Sabres still need to find another goal scorer and possession guy and they may have them in the AHL developing... but at least it looks like these guys are playing faster and have some toughness to their game. Hope it continues.

Specifically on talent two adds to top 6 Skinner and Sheary.. two good wingers and bottom 6 Berglund defensively is a horse and Sobotka defensively and underrated offensively. That is 4 adds one loss, Dhalin gives Sabres decent top four that are improving plus agreed on goaltending. Sabres still not deep on D but deeper than last year. Those 6 pieces plus healthy OK, and development of Mitts is a big change and now Phil Housley development of coach has been a big step in right direction.

Tage needs to sit and eat... Keep gaining weight. 3-5lbs a week. Actually not sure what to think of his usage. As long as he is practicing with the team, getting in a few games and learning how to play the way he needs to guess its ok but yes playing more would be ideal.

I think so especially with Sobotka. Guy is perfect fot that line. Kid is coming of age.

I wont repeat all the slang my mostly before he turned 14 year old son has had to be corrected with losing xbox days for using terms and had them explained that under no circumstances was he to use them.
