Sabres just got mentioned on Bloomberg Financial radio by Tom Keene Bllomberg Financial... “Can Anyone explain the Buffalo Sabres..10 in a row.... what is the average age of them... like 19 they cant even drink... well in Canada they can... helps they are so close to the border... spent many a great night in 70s watching Gilbert Perrault and Rick Martine...” and then a Punch Imlach reference!

Wore my Sabres scrub hat in the OR today... the hockey fans mostly Rangers fans congratulated me and said great game... nice to see relevant hockey again. My oldest has been feeling sorry for me up this point. Cant wait to take him to the Sabrespace meetup in Feb!

ROR was a different kind of cancer than the other two... a behind the scenes cancer... one whose ego wanted to be the guy but didnt have the stones or communications skills or sheer love of life to pull it off. Viewing from the outside he was one of those manic depressives who tried to grind his way to the top... but showed little joy. Throw a little Alchy/Tim Hortons on it and it seems classic. Not saying full blown cancer but one who has no joy and no one else can if he doesnt. Makes for a tough locker room. Boys needed to check their egos at the door. Trading ROR showed who the real big dog is...Jason Botterill is!

I respect it sort of, my kids have heard most of all of it except maybe some versions in other languages... I have a special needs kid who didnt start talking til he was 5, and as my wife said when he was diagnosed she would be happy if the only thing he said was the f bomb... be careful what you wish for.. because he now speaks pretty decently and clearly can say the f bomb to her.. that being said ill try to watch it.

Great game, just saw the rest of the game past Risto's goal, saw that early before beer league game, disappointed the Sabres left off the gas a little in the third... but the dog with the bone came through again... need to photoshop Skinners head on a do with a bone... maybe with a Sabres logo on it at some point. Cardiac kids are at it again. Good win. Place was rocking the way I remembered it used to...

Cant wait our first trip out of NA will probably be to Croatia/Bosnia... to experience my heritage natural fathers side... damn NS the guy in middle looks a lot like me...

Yeh he drives play like a center and passes like one too... but has rediculous speed and tenacious in the corners.

Mostly agree with above but Mitts just needs to lose more babyfat and play with a little more angst... kid is 210lbs so not underweight... I think his development is coming along, but agree he has a ways to go.

You still could be right, or it could be Allen needs some maturity like Barkley... seems like sitting out did Barkley some good... wouldn't mind seeing Barkley start every other game so Allen can learn from his mistakes... Bills offensive coaching staff or McClappy seems to missing the development point, might want to call JBOTs and Phil Housley.
