So 6 inches of snow here, had to go 36 miles from a funeral in Long Island to Northern Westchester... 95 haD At least 10 jackknifed tractor trailers. Left at 3:30pm, got home at 10pm... Then back to New Rochelle for my shift, about 20 miles. Took only 45 minutes... What a cluster.... If only people and trucks either knew how to drive in the stuff or stayed the hell off the roads. Idiots.

A compound fracture is multiple breaks of the same bone usually piercing the skin... its nasty. Dislocation is when either the bone like the elbow is out of its joint. Combined is a bad thing and gonna take awhile even with all the plates and screws to comback from and regain stength.

TT is an interesting case... not sure that he isnt figuring it out and effort he needs to put forth... careful with criticism watch we find out its marfan syndrome or something else undiagnosed... but his stamina seems to be an issue. Could be he is still figuring out how to push his body. Not sure yet and to me jury is still out.

Screw getting old I am Pan... still playing hockey at 54, hiking, biking, skiing, canoeing, camping and white water rafting... not caving though anymore lost touch with that crowd...and I no longer sleep on rocks.

So I have finally hit all the lower 48 with my kids... Alaska and Hawaii still left but really interested in exploring Europe after that especially Croatia... I was adopted and discovered I am about 20% Croate

Sobotka is not an anchor but nothing skating wise to write home about. He plays positionally well and shows moments of a little more. I think he has St Louis’ system in his head. May take awhile to see him be more. Ill take it that he isnt a defensive liability unlike last year’s Sabres.

I am intrigued by the idea of TT sitting while making room in the A for him... ps. Fedun was just traded.., but may need one more spot open... the other possibility is that they are coaching him up in practice, but have told him to quit doing that stupid toe and drag move that everyone knows is coming but he still does in games and gets burned. Could be a nervous habit.. but I'll bet that until he quits doing it he is going to sit multiple games; 1 for each time he does it and another if the puck ends up in the back of the net. Gotta break him of that idea.. tough way to learn...
