Pommer worked till he got tired, doesnt have the legs anymore and Sam is a better passer. Pommer imo is better in the corners but cant get there fast enough.

Yeh that is what I see, he use to get knocked over and now it doesnt happen. However he is pulling it off a long the wall it does work. Now if he can improve his shot suppression even if in a Sam sort of way... that’ll be great!

Again middling is the result of inconsistency. I dont see him diving in front of pucks or blocking many shots. His board play has vastly improved and his breakout passes he wiffs on a little too often. Did it against the Bruins a couple of times.

Sabres may try and trade him to a team of his choosing if possible... bag of pucks... late round draft choice better than no pucks at’all.

He is middling, sometimes good, somtimes his D zone breakout passes are brilliant others wtf. He has gotten much better a long the boards.

Yup they can still score... their goaltending is a bit better lately and Crosby is back. They will hang around, but their D is suspect. That being said, they would still be 6th in the Atlantic.

Welcome from an Amherst Grad... wasn't around til memory wise till the expansion Sabres came aboard. Was 7 when that happened, still have a Northlands stick faded signatures signed by the SCFs team. Use to listen to them under my pillow as a kid. Usually get to a game or two down in the NYC area now. Team is fun to watch again.

I really liked the speed of Zemgus, Larry and Erod and I can see Bergy being the odd guy out. Wonder if he would have fit better on 3rd line but who do you sit Pommer?
