A quick question on that whole situation. For a while in day 1 they kept saying their were 3 gunmen. Now they're completely focused on the brothers (and that other incident the next day). Did the reporting ever actually state that there were just the two gunmen and that the original number was wrong? I haven't followed it too closely, but everything I see now never even mentions that original number.

My 4 year old nephew kept me entertained. Early in the game he wanted to go sit in the very last row in the arena (we were in the front row of the upper bowl). I told him he couldn't go up there because the Hurricane fans would beat him up. After the first intermission we wound up shuffling up our 6 seats a bit. He looked to his left and saw a guy wearing a Hurricane jersey and got really scared. He asked the guy not to beat him up. The guy was very friendly, so he and my brother were joking about that the rest of the game. Wait, was there actually a hockey game?

We will be in section 306, row A and will probably be the strangest looking group ever. My brother and his wife are going, along with their 4 year old son. They're also bringing our dad who will be pushing around his walker. Then there's my wife and me. Hopefully the four year old and old man will result in very few heckles coming our way from the 10 or so other people in the building.

My brother is still very slowing looking on stubhub. This one will be a last second decision on whether or not I will be there. I think I'd actually seek you out in this crowd if it winds up being that small.

One thing has become clear to me. We really haven't had very many entertaining names over the years. Playfair feels like the best name to me so far.

I wonder how much it would take for a power team in the WHL to get a guy like Reinhart. I'd imagine Kootenay could set themselves up for a very bright future if they really wanted to.

What choice does Whaley really have in interviews right now? Manuel is the only QB they have right now. You can mention a long list of potential QBs in an interview, but there is no guarantee any single one of those guys will be here next year. I'd want someone developing Manuel regardless of if he's the starter or the backup. If he's still here next year (which I'd say is very likely), he will play at some point.

I'd kind of like to see Ghost of Freeman go off on a long winded conspiracy post, 7 or 8 long paragraphs. He would then end his post with a single word: obtuse. -
I understand there are some politics involved in MLB hall of fame voting, but I have no idea how people could not vote for either Randy Johnson or Pedro Martinez on this ballot. They were both over 90%, but I would love to know the reasoning behind the <10% of people who did not vote for them.

They should pander to the audience that elected him and have him be one of the captains. Since Latvia is the only country that will actually be watching the game, they may as well let Zemgus pick his team.
