  1. They’ve drafted a ton of qbs and cbs over the last few years, haven’t they?
  2. I've never seen a second of any of these guys, but from all the talk, I know that Mayfield is one of the smaller guys. Is his playing style similar to Tyrod at all?
  3. You know what they do get though? Clicks. The whole act is intentional.
  4. It's the Browns though. There are no limits to the potential head scratcher they could pull.
  5. Right, Andreychuk was traded for Fuhr. Nice brainfart there from me. And if Mogilny and LaFontaine played the same number of games, does that mean they both got hurt in the same game? Or did LaFontaine come back at the end of the series?
  6. No, just the team as a whole. I know Mogilny broke his leg in that series. Hadn't we already lost LaFontaine and Andreychuk at that point too?
  7. I said it earlier today, I think they're going QB with the 4th pick. The smokescreens are made in hopes of their favored guy falling to that pick.
  8. I'm one of those rare cases of the guy who actually remembers the date. Strangely enough it's the combination of our birthdays, the 5th and the 28th. I'm a numbers guy so it sticks out.
  9. Is that the one where you sit back and watch d4rk try to find a tailor?
  10. The more I hear these stories of the Browns being interested in each QB, the more I feel like they're going to wait until 4 to take their QB. What other reason could there possibly be for them leaking out these various stories? Whether they're trying to build up a trade market for #1 or they want to take Barkley, either way, it screams QB at 4. The beautiful thing is that since it is the Browns, you can throw out just about any stupid scenario and there's a good chance they would actually do it.
  11. Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O... I never would have guessed you're a 70 year old.
  12. I'd try to guess, but I think about 50 different places have come and gone in that area since then. 30 or so have come and gone since my days. edit: And am I the only one who, with the way things have gone lately, feels like this happened much longer than 25 years ago?
  13. Former Bills longsnapper?
  14. But what if we've is allergic? I will hold you personally accountable for the results.
  15. Is there a reason why we continue to throw rocks at this hornet nest rather than just move on already?
  16. I never played anything but the original, but for some reason the ads have made me curious about that game. I barely ever buy games anymore and right now, the only future game I can say I'll buy is Red Dead Redemption 2.
  17. I really need to find an independent tailor around here. I have an old suit that needs some work, but I no one I know has told me of any good places yet. We used to go to this guy in Hamburg who was really good. Maybe he can hop on a plane.
  18. I pretty much have no mechanical skills whatsoever. I'm oddly pleased with myself for figuring out how to change out the drive line for the self-propel on my lawn mower this weekend without any guidance. I usually can't do anything that calls for something beyond brute force. What is also awesome is that on friday I had a big surface of patio pavers installed right next to the new screen porch and I finally got the grill back outside. It's not so awesome though that the worker hit said brand new screen porch with something, punched a hole through the screen and gouged the wood frame. They're paying to fix it, so basically it just winds up being a short term annoyance.
  19. There's always something when it comes to realtors writing up the description. Earlier it was excessive exclamation points. Now we have yours who refuses to use capitalization.
  20. It sure is fun when you probably are going to have to spend car-type money with the very real possibility of not getting a thing in return.
  21. I guess that is the case. It looks like I remembered the move from that one year and then never even noticed when they moved it back to the original time frame. Either way, with all the extra coverage thrown towards it today, it feels like we've been talking about this draft since Reagan was in office.
  22. Does it really count as over-thinking when the draft is held 20 months after the super bowl? We're probably fortunate that there hasn't been a major off the field media circus for them to focus on like in recent years (Brady appeal, Rice-like domestic abuse cases, etc...). Because of that though, they've had pretty much nothing but the draft to cover. I really wish they'd move it back to the earlier date where they used to hold it, but that move was all about gaining more media coverage and will never change.
  23. The house behind mine is currently for sale. Some of the stuff in the description is absolutely hilarious. They call it "sun-drenched", which in other words means there is only one tree on the lot. It's only 2 years old, so that really isn't a huge issue. Anyway, they also end every single sentence in the description with 2 exclamation points ("sun-drenched!!"). All I can think when reading it is Elaine Benes and her hatred of the exclamation point.
  24. 4 different broadcasts for an event where absolutely nothing happens for right around 99% of the time it airs. Amazing.
