Mostly Whining. Let's GO Buff-a-lo!!!

They are 4 under .500 with a high likelihood of being 5 under in a few hours -- and it's Nov. 8. Their best player has left the team indefinitely (and understandably -- God bless him and his family) and their next 2 best players are having mediocre starts. Their goaltending started off better than expected and has now started to stink again. They could be 10 under by Thanksgiving real easy, and at that point the season will be unquestionably over. If that happens, will everyone get fired?

RB’A will have his team ready. “This is 2 points; don’t embarrass me.” But if the Sabres hunker down, scrap, and get the saves, just as St Louis did to them, they can win one for Rasmus and his fiancée. Then, band together and keep it going one game at a time. As fans we just haven’t seen a team like that in years because they’ve been young and inconsistent and lacked the goaltending needed to steal one when the skaters scuffle. It’s time to go be more than the sum of their parts.

The overwhelming majority of posters want the Sabres to do well. So a few posters with fringe views don’t come close to representing the majority opinion. Using them as a basis of argument isn’t a strong argument to make. It becomes a diversion from facing the real issues.

They’ve got 3-5 NHL capable goalies. Time for Adams to trade one and acquire a veteran defenseman or center on a short term contract. Using Dahlin’s absence as an excuse for going on a losing streak is unacceptable.

That's ridiculous. I'm all in on being realistic. If that happens to also be negative then so be it. If the Sabres end up in the playoffs this season, I will be shocked,… and thrilled. I get tired of the posters here who talk about other posters more than they talk about hockey. I've actually liked some of the hockey we've seen the Sabres play this year and have said as much. I guess you ignored those posts. Some people only look for the negative, I guess.

Come on, Terry isn't scouting and doing paper work and making phone calls. He's just the final approval on everything big. You want a trade he has to say okay. We will see in time if Jarmo plays a bigger role or not.

You can argue forever searching for "facts" and absolute "proof" and you will rarely get it. Most hockey related stories are filled with conjecture and scenarios which may or may not be true from Friedman and Seravelli and a host of others. You just kind of sit back and try to look for the simplest answer. Occam's Razor. So you look at Buffalo and see bad decisions and futility since Terry bought the team and you ask yourself what is the one constant through all those other changes? Does it not then become obvious???

Is the definition of problem child open to interpretation? Like their problem child has bad grades at prep school, caught with weed and edibles and was kicked off the wrestling team. While our problem child has a cocaine habit, an illegitimate child at age 16 and dropped out of public school as a sophomore? Also, love how you say “one of ours”, as in plural. We have so many f@*king problem children that 1 Seymore Knox III Plaza that it’s the new Father Bakers of Buffalo for the 21st Century. In fact I think parents may start to use the arena as a threat to their young children with bad behavior, like we heard about Father Bakers.
