He never was, more then likely they were working on moving him up to a 'President' type role and replacing him as GM.

Terry gets to keep his Yes man buddy around and they can replace him as GM to please the fan base.

If he was getting fired from the job there wouldn't have been all this talk the last week about him being replaced.

Sabres looked very good tonight. Ran out of a little gas the last part of the third period but they pretty much dominated overall. I think Alex Lyon's stellar play has rubbed off on the entire team.

Goalies have the same effect on a team as a QB does in the NFL.
