sabremike Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago I mean at this point how can you NOT ask what in the flying ***** that strength and conditioning coach is doing? 1 1 Quote

mjd1001 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago What is the record for the most manned lost games in a season by players who are projected to be regulars? I'm guessing at some point there was some team that went through crazy injuries that has an unreal number... But this sabers team might be approaching the top 10 of that list. Quote
Archie Lee Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I was hoping we would put in a claim for Stecher. Right shot, 31 year old veteran, D, makes under $800k, has been a stabilizer for some young players, including Power at the World’s back before Power was drafted. Hard to imagine he would not have been a better depth piece than Geertsen, who despite the Sabres having catastrophic levels of man-games lost, can’t get into a game. Quote
zow2 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago This list of injuries is ridiculous. You figure most hockey injuries are day to day but the Sabres have a run of longer term ones that seems to last a couple weeks or more Quote

I guess it's where you are drawing the line. If it's for a season you're looking at season ending injuries. We have not lost anyone for 82 games like Florida. For this time in the season we have lost a lot. The Avalanche had a ton of injuries to start last year. Probably on par with what we are going through. I don't know the answer but they came to mind and it's probably happened to most teams at one time or another. Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago If it’s broke, see you at the end of January. Quote
MDFan Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago It did not look good at the time. I could not tell if the puck hit his ankle or a bit higher but he went down like he was shot and he could not put any weight on it. Quote
Flashsabre Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Kulich has blood clots, Zucker a virus, Dahlin had a LOA because of his fiancé, Kesselring blocked a shot. I don’t get this dumping on the Strength coach narrative I’ve seen for a couple weeks. Edited 2 hours ago by Flashsabre 1 1 Quote

If when you think about something logically and there is no blame to be placed, the fan base will find the easiest place, the path of least resistance. Blame must be placed. 3 Quote
Big Guava Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago For fvck's sake. Can we just play a game where someone doesn't get seriously injured?? Quote
Crusader1969 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago The issue isn't that one of the six dmen are hurt. I'd imagine most teams are down 1 dman this time of the season. The issue is the 7th guy is Bryson. You'd think a GM who is in the final year of his job would be a little more desperate to make an upgrade Quote

It’s ridiculous they let him walk and chose to overpay Bryson as their first signing objective. Quote
