PerreaultForever Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Hurricanes come at you hard and forecheck as well as anybody (except maybe Florida) but they can be beaten. A few games back I watched a talent deprived Bruins team shut them down and keep them to the outside. You play them physical and you control the middle of the ice and they have issues. They can be beaten, but if you show up trying to play open ice and your own perimeter brand of hockey you will get blown out by their talent. Quote

Pimlach Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I think it will be Lyon. I hope so.  With Ellis on the bench and getting for the next game.  1 Quote
Flashsabre Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago At this point I would rather just pull the goalie to start the game and play 6 skaters all game then have UPL in net Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Taking the girls to a movie so I will mercifully miss this one. This is the kind of game they inexplicably win a lot. Who the hell knows. Edited 1 hour ago by HumanSlinky39 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted 50 minutes ago Report Posted 50 minutes ago RBâA will have his team ready. âThis is 2 points; donât embarrass me.â But if the Sabres hunker down, scrap, and get the saves, just as St Louis did to them, they can win one for Rasmus and his fiancÃĐe. Then, band together and keep it going one game at a time. As fans we just havenât seen a team like that in years because theyâve been young and inconsistent and lacked the goaltending needed to steal one when the skaters scuffle. Itâs time to go be more than the sum of their parts. Quote
nfreeman Posted 50 minutes ago Report Posted 50 minutes ago They are 4 under .500 with a high likelihood of being 5 under in a few hours -- and it's Nov. 8. Their best player has left the team indefinitely (and understandably -- God bless him and his family) and their next 2 best players are having mediocre starts. Their goaltending started off better than expected and has now started to stink again. They could be 10 under by Thanksgiving real easy, and at that point the season will be unquestionably over. If that happens, will everyone get fired? Quote
