Yes, if they can get this into the garage against a team like this and build upon it, they will start gaining some respect around the league, win or lose. They can put these other teams on notice that "we're not the same old Sabres" and "we'll take what you give and punch right back."

Reinhart did for Eichel when Casey Nelson skated away.

And they had a nice bonding fracas in Arizona in Eichel/Reino's rookie season... Marcus Foligno was still on the team.
