I know that the Buffalo Sabres are the embarrassment of the league and have been for some time, but I can’t imagine rooting for a team like Toronto.

Earlier a compilation of Toronto Maple Leafs chokes came up on YouTube for me. It was like 20 minutes long. I forgot about some of them. It’s actually absurd what they’ve been up to the last 15 years.

89 on Toronto turtled unlike any I have ever seen.

I guess the younger Robertson is used to being scared after scoring on his older brother growing up or something. Very weird.

No helmet and skates everywhere? Dude is incredibly lucky there.

I remember watching games when helmets were rare.  They only wore them after serious injuries.  Seems crazy in today’s world.

There are some arguments that make sense, such as "Leafs fans are obnoxious". Then there are arguments that are ridiculously ridiculous, such as "hockey players who wear helmets are wusses".

I could not imagine playing goalie back in the day and not having face/ head protection.  Insane.
