I recognized this season as a retool year, so I wasn’t overly concerned, but the amount of positions that need to be addressed because Beane whiffed in multiple drafts with first and second rd picks is definitely a grave concern. I’m questioning Beane’s ability to GM, it’s not a good track record. Beane's recent drafts have not been great, not good enough to improve the overall team, but the jury is still out on a bunch of players. The chances of getting immediate impact players is not great when you draft in last 4 picks, but he should be able to find some quality starters. Quickie summery: 2025 1. Hairston CB - he could be a shut down CB and looks very good in limited action, a lot to be hopeful about 2. TJ Sanders DT - getting reps, versatile, still way too early to say, was hurt for awhile 4. Deon Walker Dt - looks like a good player. massive size and he has been noticeable in a good way 5. Hawes TE - pretty good player and solid blocking TE 6. Dorian Strong and Jordan Hancock DB - both looked like good and were contributors, but then they both got hurt 2024 1. Coleman WR - looks like a questionable pick right now 2. Bishop SS - looks like he is emerging as a very good player. The rest of this draft is meh 2023 1. Kincaid TE is a very good player and our most reliable receiver 2. Torrence G - Excellent OG, has started every game and solidified the middle of the OL. 3. Dorian LB - looking good and a solid contributor 2022 1. Kiiar Elam CB - a major bust 2. Cook RB - one of the best in the league 3. Bernard LB - had a great start and was a playmaker, lots of injuries have slowed him way down unfortunately, his career may have peaked but hopefully not 5. Shakir WR - a good slot WR. 6. Benford CB - starter since rookie year. very good when healthy Edited 18 hours ago by Pimlach 1 Quote

WTF? Never. KC is in the outside looking in right now. They need to be kept out. He’ll, they could very well be more of a competitor for us for a wild card spot than they are a head to head playoff matchup. Quote

shrader Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Can someone tell me why Hardman was moved onto the main roster as opposed to being activated off the practice squad? Is it an issue of only a certain number can activated and they needed to move one of him or Davis onto the active roster? I would have figured that the guy who has been with the team for more than a couple days would get that slot. Cap issues? Quote
Pimlach Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago The Bills may just get it going. I think we saw something with Shavers and Palmer getting more snaps, and Coleman getting less. Allen made a few mistakes, but he shouldn’t have to apologize for 6TDs. Thursday will be tough but winnable. They still have a shot at the division, if not wild card. It’s all about getting hot in December. Quote

Sure When "crappy" = SIX TOTAL TOUCHDOWNS 🤣🤣🤣 Allen is earning his paycheck AND half of this team's (HC/OC/DC/GM and so on) IMO Do you remember what this team was like BEFORE Josh??? Have you seen what QBs are like on other teams? Josh's only failure has been masking the deficiencies of those around him and producing an unnatural W-L record, which keeps Buf from properly restocking the talent on this team, because they've been drafting at the mid to late 20s for 7 frigging years The draft is a crapshoot as it is, and NEVER drafting in the top half of the rounds seriously handicapps your team in regard to replenishing personnel Josh is the KING of making chicken salad out of chicken 💩 Quote

It takes time to learn so that you can play fast. 11 hours ago, JujuFish said: Hawes probably makes it easier to get rid of Knox and his bad contract. Part of me thinks this has to be the plan. OTOH, Knox is so connected to this team -- maybe he'll end up taking an extension/restructure that allows the team to keep him (at a more reasonable number). 9 hours ago, PASabreFan said: TB really gave up with 38 seconds to go. I was at my perch in the 300s -- perplexed. 9 hours ago, clink said: Sure When "crappy" = SIX TOTAL TOUCHDOWNS 🤣🤣🤣 I lost my patience with one of my regular Bills text threads -- there were people there just dogging Allen for the bad plays/decisions he made (and there were several) even after the game was over. Some people cling to misery like their lives depend on it. 9 hours ago, clink said: Keon is a mess He has NO dog in his game IMO Rather he's an immature underachiever who doesn't seem to be getting the message??? Sadly, I think this must be the case. My pet theory: Keon is one of those young athletes whose mother (or others playing a mother's role) just babied the sh1t out of him. Made sure he was awake at the right time. Made sure he was on time for things. Packed his lunch with sandwich crusts cut off (this is a metaphor). And otherwise ran his life so that he stayed on a good path. He's adrift now. Too immature to make a difference in the insanely competitive, hyper-professionalized NFL. Quote
