Football over, Sabres irrelevant, youth hockey coming to an end, Spring training not in full swing. The winning helps but if all those things aren't aligned, the crowd wouldn't be as large. inkman
Fooking Donner insisting that Asplund's goal was Leier even though Leier never touched it and Aslpund carried it from center ice to the back of the net. Man he's losing it.

inkman
Amerks win 5-3. Olofsson & Leier with 2 goal games. Nylander a goal & assist. Asplund and O'Regan with 2 helpers each. Team is buzzing. Smoked the best team in the league Friday and beat the bottom feeder Devil's Saturday. Matinee at 3pm on MSG Tomorrow. Hopefully, they can keep it up for the TV audience.

steveoath
Leier seems to have slotted in nicely.

DarthEbriate
Officially a good weekend for the farm. 3 games, 3 victories (one against the best team in the division, and then two handling the worst) Asplund in particular is coming along nicely on the stat sheets: 3 GP, 3-4-7, 10 shots, +3. 1 PPG, 3 PPA.
dudacek
Nice to see th way Asplund’s game has grown as the year has progressed. He fell of the radar early with his slow start offensively, but he seems on track to be the good, two-way third line centre Larsson never became . Ogre
Holy crap. I check the outcome as soon as I roll into the hotel in Jersey and see 6-1!!!! Sorry I had to miss this one...
inkman
It amazes me what a sniper Remi Elie is at the AHL level.

inkman
Went to Amerks. Won 3-0. Smith, Olofsson and Leier with the tallies. One thing stuck out to me. Victor Olofsson is skinny. Like coat hanger skinny. I have to believe this is what has kept him in the A.
inkman
He's listed at a buck 76. That's gotta been in full gear. He looks 150 soaking wet. Hopefully he eats some garbage plates and hits the gym.
Ogre
I’ve missed two in a row.... Amerks back in first by one point with a game in hand for Syracuse...9 points ahead of third place Toronto with even GP...round one is going to be wild... I'm hoping to see Rochester and Syracuse meet at some point in the playoffs. That would be a nasty series. They play 12 times during the regular season, a 7 game series would be 19 matchups. If that doesn't make a rivalry, I dont know what does. They already hate each other.
