PASabreFan Posted January 28, 2018 Report Share Posted January 28, 2018 If I did the math right, if McDavid and Eichel skated at their skills competition speed from Blue Cross Arena in Rochester to KeyBank Center in Buffalo following the Google Maps route, McDavid would arrive 4 minutes and 30 seconds ahead of Eichel. I have McDavid at 27.92 mph and Eichel at 27.17. Finding the exact distance around the rink was tough. I went with a Google answer someone gave: 551 feet. In other words, they are both fast.
