But keyboardist Kevin Hearn sings all of Steven's parts and sounds enough like him to make it all work. Here's the setlist from the show I saw. Great show. Agree that Kevin Hearn carries more of the load and is very capable of doing so. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM Report Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM I often make last minute decisions to go to shows, especially if I go on a ticket resale site and see someone dumping one seat cheap. Such was the case with the Pixies in Boston tonight. They are playing the MGM Music Hall which is embedded in Fenway Park, which is also hosting some big country show tonight, so it's going to be a zoo on Lansdowne Street tonight. 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Took my wife and her two nieces to Art Park to see Grace Potter tonight. Good show. I’m tired. 😴 Bed time for me. 2 Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Just got back from the UK, kicked around for the week but ultimately flew over and saw Tim Minchin in Sheffield, it was an amazing show. So funny and crazy talented on the keys. 1 Quote

In years where Artpark’s lineup is pretty solid, I know I stay way more interested in their schedule. When they announced this season’s initial lineup in early Spring I yawned and stopped paying attention. Quote

I don’t think we’ve had any this year. The line up is pretty bad. Has been going down hill for a few years. Edited 7 hours ago by Kr632 Quote

Shania Twain was playing at Darrien Lake last night and that show was sold out so that was part of it. Still, I thought the small crowd was probably due in part to Canadian’s not coming over. The people behind us were from Hamilton though. 17 minutes ago, Kr632 said: Yep. Used to have a pile of Canadian money at the end of the night. I don’t think we’ve had any this year. She put on a very good show, she brought a lot of energy, she talked about Art Park being a special place for own career development. I felt bad for the small crowd but it made it easy to get in and out and no concession lines was nice. Still, she deserved a bigger crowd. I’m betting the Sabres see a similar affect. 2 hours ago, nucci said: Steve Hackett When and where? Edited 6 hours ago by Pimlach Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago When I was flying out this week I spent a deal of time in Toronto at the airport, was chatting with some locals and it's really sad to hear their perspective on coming over. Many just aren't, citing hassles at the border and etc... A few even said last time they came across the border patrol was asking their opinions of the political situation and the president, which seems wrong and probably not legal. I don't think the rest of the country understands how much this crap is hurting the local economy and on a larger scale the economy on a whole. Add that to the fact that we haven't properly recovered from the pandemic as of yet and here we are. To keep it back on point, I'm supposed to go see we lost the sea in Cleveland this week (post rock) band Quote

They also announced her show pretty late, doesn’t help with sales. But yeah Shania didn’t help. It wasn’t even on our schedule. Had to call a bunch of people in because they didn’t know they had to work. Edited 5 hours ago by Kr632 Quote

I almost feel like Canada is the same country (at least to me) so it breaks my heart even more with this nonsense. 1 Quote

The people that live close to the boarder on either side are the most affected and that is a big majority of Canadians overall. Quote
